Didn't know how the fans would react.  I know some would freak out.  Cassandra is my first romance to go for, always has been though I had trouble deciding between her or Sera

Not going to lie, kinda disappointed that Cassandra's romance got leaked but Sera's didn't. Not for the perv reasons, well mostly not for the perv reasons but I am curious how they handle the romance, is it like Samantha's romance arc in ME3, which was pretty disappointing due to it being clearly more for fanservice then anything else.

Samantha's arc wasn't just fanservice haha sometimes I feel like the only lady who prefers her.

But I do understand that anxiety. I will say that the DA team doesn't seem to have issues with that on the same level of the ME team, at least for romances. Also Sera is a companion and I think what really sunk Sam for most was the lack of content (made the fanservice aspect stand out a lot)...Sera will def have a lot more than her.

pft lol that's what made her so awesome: I didn't have to restructure my squad just to bring waifu along everywhere in order to avoid missing romance content

also it meant that I avoided all the "you are giving orders in combat to a loved one" stuff that I hate so much from an rp perspective

woulda been nice to not have the "turned up to 11" robot fetishism in Citadel though, that was off-putting even though yes I know the DLC made everybody look flanderized

Samantha herself is great, and they actually did a good job building chemistry between her and FemShep in such a short amount of time (especially compared to ManShep/Steve), it's mostly the sex scene that ruined that romance for me. It's was borderline gross.

 

Anyway, I would think, or at least hope, that they learned their lesson from that and Sera's romance scenes will be more or less equal to Cassandra and Josephine.

One of the negative comments I've seen in reviews is that there's a lot of clipping. It doesn't really bother me, usually.

It can be annoying. I actually hated it in ME2/3 where it was often noticeable.

 

That Swedish review seemed pretty positive about the romance so I'm not worried.

Pretty much. After reading that review, I'm basically not worried anymore. It literally said that Sera's romance...

Which was exactly what was worrying me. So with that out of the way, I'm a happy panda!

Agreed. It sort of gives me vibes from Thane's romance.

They showed off a duster style armor for both the Rogue and the Mage, I really want that big brimmed hat that the mage had way back when we didnt know much about the game... that looked really cool, though since I'll be playing as a Qunari first, I'd like to see some examples of their facepaint stuff that is the replacement for their helmets.

I dont think we actually get to choose our stats this time around, or if we do, they've not shown it during the level up process...

I think stats are now boosted up solely by the armor you are wearing/weapon you are using and increases from certain skills.
