Samantha's arc wasn't just fanservice
haha sometimes I feel like the only lady who prefers her.
But I do understand that anxiety. I will say that the DA team doesn't seem to have issues with that on the same level of the ME team, at least for romances. Also Sera is a companion and I think what really sunk Sam for most was the lack of content (made the fanservice aspect stand out a lot)...Sera will def have a lot more than her.
Hey, I love Samantha. I don't much like how they handled her romance, though: aside from the shower scene itself that was kinda cringe-worthy, it was also too sudden, basically you go from greeting her for the first time on the Normandy to having sexytimes with her in your shower in the next conversation.
Had they kept the chess scene also for those who were romancing her (maybe with a few flirty lines that wouldn't obviously be present with a male Shep) and in the next conversation let the shower scene play, it would have felt less rushed, imho. Also, they should have given her a couple of scene of the Citadel like every other romance/character. It also feels as if male Shepard has somehow more interaction with her, even in the Citadel dlc.
So, is every companion calling the PC the Inquisitor? Or could I dare to hope that they'll at least be using the Inquisitor's last name like they did with Hawke, so that it's less awkward in a romance?
Otherwise I don't see any reason why they'd include last names at all?
It was a bit awkward in Origins 'cause the LI didn't call the PC by any name. And when I think about how much I use my significant other's first name and/or nickname I just can't imagine how they manage to go through the whole romance without any names mentioned.
I know, I know, it's just a game... but still!
I love you, Inquisitor.
Inquisitor, you're my best friend ever!
