I honestly don't see the big deal if you intend to roll a female Inquisitor at some point anyway. You still have the option to try her romance if you really want to.

 

I don't play female characters. So nope. But like I said, it's a shame for characters but no deal breaker.

The Inquisitor sees her telling fisting jokes to the local population in a tavern. That's where they decided they just had to add her to the Inquisition.

 

Good jokes are good for moral after all.

I don't think it was stated. I think of EP becuase in the trialer she was there in a cutscene. Though it's possible It's about her personal quest and not her recruitment quest.

I really think she isn't making a fisting joke (at least, not like that.)  I think she's probably graphically describing having her fist in troll guts or something like that.  Not something perverted, but something that Cassandra might find inappropriate.

 

My guess is that we'll meet her in a tavern.  As long as the tavern isn't skippable, that's one DA tradition that can continue.  It seems fitting that we might meet her in a decent sized town.  Maybe even in Redcliffe.

My husband only plays females in third person games.  He's told me that if he's going to spend hours staring at a butt, it might as well be a ladies butt.

 

For the record, he played a female Trooper in ToR and enjoyed the romance that the femTrooper had.  I've almost got him talked into trying Mass Effect, and he told me his Shep is going to be a lady.  He loves Jennifer Hale's voice, so that doesn't hurt.

Her bio article on the main site does say something about her finding the Inquisition as opposed to the Inquisition finding her, so ya never know.

That's the beauty of head cannon.  Give her some jokes!  I'm sure she's full of perverted jokes, just not in that particular scene.

Oh totally yeah, and I don't get me wrong I don't mind that people play another gender than the one they are. But it has never been my cup of tea and never really interests in any way. Something might be wrong with me like that, but I'll live.
