I keep reading "TLC" as "The Lost Chapters" and think people are talking about Fable for a second.

and I keep reading it as "Tummy Loving Care" and think people are talking about yogurt.

The only kind of solace I can take from the whole Cassandra debacle is that I got to actually speak to Allen in the feedback forums about it, giving as rational criticism as I could about Biowares track record of the "main" romanceable female companions always being straight, and their weird trend of making seemingly butch women (or just women who fit otherwise lesbian stereotypes) not just straight but almost aggressively straight. He seemed to take all of the critiques from me and others to heart, compiled them into a list and said he would speak to who he could about it. I don't know if it will make ANY difference in the future, but we tried, lol.

Still Bioware, it was beyond cruel of you to make lesbian catnip in the form of Cassandra and then make her straight. Not cool, hahaha. Forever sad.

Well, as a future teacher (hopefully, watch me jinx it and end up somewhere completely else), I think I see a decent solution.

Gonna deal trouble in my lessons? Whoops, was that a test I just thought up in my head?

(Except then I have to sit down and check those tests. I'll get back to you on details.)

Also, did you not hear me mention a homework, or something important during the lesson? Too bad you were talking. I lowered my voice specifically because you were.

I'd do that. I wouldn't have any f***ing about in my classrooms. They want to p*** about. They can deal with the inevitable consequences. I see the same people being d**** "Oh? You didn't know there was a test today? Well, let me tell you that this test is going to be 1/4 of your final grade. Good-luck"

Mind you, around here, elementary and high school (which'll be my area of... expertise? if I graduate college with my Masters from History and English) use a 1-5 best-worst system.

Bosh'tet grabs three fives and gets a hard-on for learning on the last mark, he's still through with 4 and laughing, because he's through.

Watch them look at LOADS of bad marks from many small, two to three question tests, with only one or two that weren't... ambushes, so to speak.

That'll be like watching Alien. At least for me.

Except I'll be laughing when the protagonists fail to survive, and not scared for them.
