I'm really interested to see how Sera reacts to Briala.
On the one hand she very clearly has absolutely no love for any idea about the rights of Elves as a people. She's just interested in helping the downtrodden get one over on the rich and powerful, whatever the race, so she's not going to agree with Briala's motivations.
On the other hand, Celene and Gaspard clearly represent the establishment she loathes, whereas Briala is something else. Does she actually want something else, though, or does she just want to get back to having fun in a world that she knows and understands?
Some great points were made about Briala and how her plans are actually very bad for common people who aren't elves, but in her eyes at least she was forced into that plan after exhausting the possibilities of achieving social parity for elves from within the system. The Inquision coming along must disrupt the balance of power, and she'll know that if we side with Celene or Gaspard, we could tip the scales, finish the war early and her plan to rise up after a war of attrition will be thwarted. It's therefore in her interest to adapt her plans somehow to fit the new situation, and she doesn't strike me as the sort not to see that. I'm really excited to see how it all plays out.
