I call their boss. All my students are public servants who have to pass a French test to keep their jobs.
Ooh. That's different from my potential job.
id go power mad in that position... lucky
As a teacher, the parents (well, in Cat's case, the students, as they're adults) are constantly on your back if they don't like how their kid (themselves...) perform.
You can end up in your bosses office pretty damn fast. Plus the nerves. You mostly can't even tell young kids to shut up with any real... forceful voice application (ie, shout at them like it's the end of the world)
Not really. The students complain to my boss all the time. And then we have the quality insurence officers, and the paperwork and... It's not that great.
So, from what I know, a regular teacher's business.
They don't like the way you work, you're in trouble.
Add in the whole "Gotta test them, then I gotta check the tests for how they wrote it"...
At least I imagine most of those people are polite.
The way kids behave sometimes (I tend to hear quite a bit) I might end up so psychically FUBAR that I'll just go crazy. And not in a good way.
My mental condition isn't exactly stable as it is, I guess. But I'm nowhere near mass-murderer or completely batsh*t crazy.
Bad life experiences. Oh well. Could be worse. A lot worse.
Anyway, loads of respect if you have the nerves to deal with it without problems.
