You seem to make assumptions based on looks a lot TJ, not a good thing mate.
I never found Sera ugly (I certainly wouldn't call her a goddess of looks, but she seems fine enough) and Dorian has nothing that screams gay to me besides the point that we know he is.
The things I have seen from him he appears to be a slightly more classy Alistair with a nice tan and a twirlie.
Anyway, this is not the place to complain about the LI options/restrictions/whatever. It tends to get threads closed and I'd hate to see the Sera thread go down. So many fond memories here. 
Sera looks almost exactly like my best friend in the 7th grade. She was very cute and short.
lol, I don't really see how Dorian looks gay. He seems more like a cliche silent film villain with that mustache of his than gay. But then the only gay men I know look and act like any other guy so..............What can I say, I certainly have no gaydar. Its not something I look for. lol

There is a difference to making snap judgements and following them. I'm not going to deny that I make assumptions about people myself, but I have never judged anyone by it. I know too many weirdoes to do that.

Those are two of mine too, but I really want to roll Varric, Sera Iron Bull for the most part. Might save that for when I play a humor quizzy myself though. First pt is diplomatic, so Blackwall might fit there.
If it's moddable, there'll be character customization mods for minor details, I don't doubt.

Can't use Varric. Never liked Dwarves. Torvin from Shadow of Mordor almost changed my mind. But nope. Someone told me Iron Bull's voice doesn't fit his character, but I haven't saw any of his stuff (try to keep that stuff away; Sera's the only one I checked up on in-depth).

No...but you can respec her to put points into the dagger tree so she'll be better at using those instead of a bow.

Not even close.
It means you can redistribute her skill points. If you, say, want to make her use daggers instead of a bow or don't like where you put some of her skills.

I hope your right. Some games just don't develop strong modding communities out of a lack of interesting but being an open world RPG hopefully will allow some mods. But the engine is know to be difficult to mod.

Well without a toolkit I doubt we will see big game changing mods or UI overhauls etc, but I think people will have some CC and hair mods pretty quick, maybe some armor mods or a camp inventory chest.

Battlefield is not an RPG where mods would be in high demand.
It just depends on how much people love the game. If people want to keep playing it and improving it, they will. If they don't...there will be less than Dragon Age 2, which people didn't love but was at least much easier to mod.
BF4 has very few mods out for it, and there's a huge modding community there, so I don't think it will be easy. It will just take the combined knowledge of the strides they made + dedicated DA modders to make things happen. I have hopes, but no expectations.
There will def be at least a few color texture mods, I assume, since they have done that on BF4. Casual Skyhold Clothes Color Change Mod, ahoy!
I'm really worried about Sera apparently not giving a damn about the elves as a society. And will react very poorly if she attacks the Dalish.
