You guys wouldn't talk about male Inquisitors being able to woo Sera and now you're talking about Dragon Age Playboys or something?

Come one, let's talk about boycotting this game until we can get Sera to go both ways.  You know you want too.  :D

No.

She likes teh ladies.

Deal with it.

:P

I guess I will weigh in on the Sera intelligence factor, I haven't seen any of the spoilers so I'm speaking in a general sense.

Sera could be highly intelligent but uneducated, being uneducated doesn't really give a clue to a person’s intelligence. In my job I've known people that are less educated but can learn and be more productive than some highly educated people. A couple of the most educated people I've worked with had no practical sense at all and were unable to do their job. My job is to solve problems and I'm constantly amazed at some of the decisions that were made to cause the problem. Sometimes intelligent people make bad decisions usually because they lacked experience and/or guidance to make proper decisions.

Sera may very well be intelligent I really don't know at this point but never had the guidance to learn how to make good decisions. It even happens in the real world to highly educated people and it's doubtful that Sera is educated.

Hum...

Honestly , Intelligence and having culture (Y'know..like being able to hold a cultured conversation) Isn't something that would worry me . But more her Emotional age . That would be where it will show if she is childish or mature .

Sera seems, like someone else said, to be more knowledgeable in street smarts than book smarts.

I know some people who couldn't tell me who Julius Caser is, what an exponent is, hell I doubt some could solve an algebraic equation.  But some of those guys... they have a certain mindset about what they do and they're actually innovative in some of the things they end up making.

I think Sera is like that.  She's not a genius, but I think she has a higher state of common sense than most.  She doesn't need lessons on how to do something.

EDIT:  she likes the V.

I'm an engineer and design highways or I used to, now I fix problems with our roads and review plans to make sure the design is safe and efficient.

I will admit my biggest concern is Sera's maturity level not intelligence.

How old is Sera exactly?  Why be concerned with her maturity?

Well, the swedish article about Sera (the author romanced her) did give some hints about her romance so i'm sure it will be great. ^_^

lol Take a look at Artemis Avatar or Wildchild or Danielle...thats a Vavavoummmmmmmm

well I personally I'm worried about her emotional Age because..tis the 3rd time in a row they are giving us a ROGUE for a romance . Nothing wrong with rogue (beside I suck at that class  :P ) but would have been nice to have something 'NEW' . I guess Sera is new and Unknown..so that add to the whole 'OMG! would she Like me ? LOL'

I'm hoping she sweep me off mah feet like countless others did though... ;)

Terrible roads can be found anywhere, unfortunately roads are many and the money is scarce. I've got my hands full where I live, in the Midwest.

Varric, Iron Bull, Dorian, and even Cole (though mostly because of his...lack of knowledge of the realm of the living), aren't that serious, and are pretty humorous individuals as well though.

I will admit my biggest concern is Sera's maturity level not intelligence.

Your earlier assessment makes perfect sense to me. But I'm going to chime in on this for a bit.

From everything we've seen up until now, I'm not convinced Sera's going to be the mature type. But that's exactly what makes her so interesting to me. We tend to think of immature characters negatively (perhaps rightly so), when in reality, such a trait may actually open up more opportunities for development and interesting scenarios in the long run. We already know that Sera is described as inexperience, and that she tends to express thoughts on situations as if it were her first time doing whatever she's doing. That, to me, makes her something of a puzzle. And puzzles are fun!

As for intelligence, well, the word 'intelligence' is generally pretty vague and can have any number of meanings or connotations associated with it. I don't expect Sera to be intelligent on an intellectual level (that's something I would be more inclined to give to Leliana), but she's most likely intelligent in some other way, which, again, just makes her all the more interesting to me <3
