I usually play a Rogue when given the choice but, the Mage gameplay really did impress me( not to say the Rogue didn't).Rogue, always Rogue.
My difficulty is deciding between a Qunari Assassin or Dwarf Tempest.
The latter has Thousand Cuts which is just awesome but the former fits my style of play better.

War, war never changes
I hate that game now. Not just for unfulfilled promise, but for poisoning the minds of students who really do think that war has never changed.

Yeah, war changes constantly with each new generation of technology. Edited: One day mankind will develop a weapon so terrifying and absolute in it's destructive power he shall lose all desire for war. Wish I could remember who said it but, alas my memory is rather poor.I hate that game now. Not just for unfulfilled promise, but for poisoning the minds of students who really do think that war has never changed.

It's kind of ironic as well considering that the games are inspired by the nuclear arms race, which is when war very rapidly and very obviously changed.

True, and yeah it depresses me as well Monkey. The sad part is that we currently have the means and technology too solve many of our problems.I think pearlman was refering to the objectivity of war. Sure the battlefield/weapons change... be we generally keep the same endgame goals; freedom, religious dominance, etc. We are humans we find various ways to kill eachother and often have similar reasons for it
Oh man i just depressed myself

When you abstract it to that level the statement loses most of its meaning though. You might as well say: Humans, humans always fight. Beyond that war changes quite a lot.

i prefer to make my beliefs simple cause they get so complicated that i cant properly articulate them and my misanthropic views can unnerve some. But i understand your pointWhen you abstract it to that level the statement loses most of its meaning though. You might as well say: Humans, humans always fight. Beyond that war changes quite a lot.

Speaking of the war, war never changes line, I've always seen it more as the outcome of war has never changed, the realities have never changed. there will always be death in War, there is no such thing as a 'bloodless war'. the way they have been fought, the equipment, the people fighting said wars, those have changed, but never the outcomes, one side always looses. people always die.
Now I feel weird... and am having a hard time trying to figure out if I'm a pessimist or a realist... or are they pretty much the same thing? ![]()

That's one of the reasons why I say it sounds like him... maybe it was one of the others on the project and not actually him? hmmm
