I'm completely uninformed about the whole Orlesian throne issue. I hope that everything's explained in the game, so that I can get up to speed on it. I somehow get the feeling that Sera wouldn't leave us for picking a side though. Something else probably triggers that outcome (like being a complete douche).

Nonsense but true. The Dark Ages totally f***ed up everything scientific and went back to "God is this magically divine man that lives in the sky and created everything and gave the throne to a king and everyone born from him is a king and has divine right to be a tyrant". F***ed up time.

 

No it's complete nonsense, technology did progress during that period, architecture, weaponery, engineering (ships, mainly)...the world of 496 could've never do what the world of 1492 was able to. It's just plain lies to say that developpement has stalled during the middle age, but it's even completely laughable to suggest that technology came back to the early Egypt like this grapoh is doing.

 

Also it doesn't counts Asia and the Islamic world.

 

I've only rarely see so much rubbish at once.

I said it was nonsense but true. Technology did progress but we destroyed so much, that what we had discovered is practically insignificant to what we could have had. Now I don't want to hate on The Dark Ages because that is actually my favourite part of History.

I wasn't very amused when the Quizzy edition was announced as GS only because they only have a website here, no actual shops and I get a bit suspicious of unfamiliar online only shops. As long as its delivered on Friday, nothing else matters now
