I started posting once we got some solid info on her with clear, high quality screenshots to go with it. Before that I didn't have enough to go on to start formulating an opinion on whether or not I'd find her interesting. It just so happens to have occurred only a few days prior to her orientation being revealed as well.

I'll admit, i wasn't that interested in her, but with the new info and pics and seeing her in the demo... she won me over.

Ehhhhhh, I didn't see it anywhere though. There was mostly negativity on her appearance more than anything else and the thread was locked earlier, that's how bad it got, so..

It's so ridiculous. It's literally the first time there's a female companion exclusive to f!protag in the Dragon Age series. Welcome to our world, honestly.

 

That has been the basic line running through my head upon reading the more moronic and entitled posts last night.

The irony was funny though, all the "DA2 bi romances were awful & unrealistic, we need set orientations" then when a pretty female party member is gay its "i wanted to romance with my male character, how dare BW take away my choice by making her gay, she should be straight or bi"

Honestly I will just romance her with my female Dalish Elf who I planned to be gay anyway.

 

Honestly its intensely shallow to only enjoy a female character cause you can romance them.

I mean I love Tali, Leliana, Dawn Star, Jaheira, etc.

 

Not because my character could romance them, but cause I liked their characters.

If someone honestly says it "ruins" a character to not romance them, maybe they never really liked the character in the first place.

I'm wondering how her archery style is going to be different from Varric's.  She uses a long bow instead of a crossbow and it makes me wonder what tricks she has up her sleeve.

 

I'm not addressing her sexuality much more, because it's been talked about to death.   She's here, she's queer, now let's focus on other aspects of her character.

She's my only hope if one ends up straight and the other non-LI. Which i have a feeling that would probably be the case.
