THANK GOD. I thought she only trusts templars (i'd find it weird if she did) and because i prefer mages.... good to know Sera dislikes both sides.. Sad that I have to choose one group sobs.

You don't have to get disapproval though. You can conscript Both groups in the Inquisiton, and that makes her approve. She's against an alliance.

I really hope that there's a way to forge a third path here. It's clear to me both that the circle system is a failure and that allowing Mages unchecked power as in Tevinter also ends up as a mess.

I would ask though do you think that option may be restricted by choices made in the previous games? Kinda like the Geth/Quarian peace stuff in ME3? Or is it all down to choices made in Inquisition?

As much as I really wanted to play DAI.... I cant.       The Keep erased the Morrigan option to have Alistair and Anora rule while the warden lives.... which is almost 99% of my play throughs.. this really sucks.

No it didn't. You select Alistair as king in the companion bit but if he's ruling with Anora you select that additionally in the Landsmeet section.

Why does my black haired elf have brown to light brown hair in game. Her nice thin jaw is gone also, she looks like the bottom of her face is swollen. The CC is driving me crazy.

If you'd had Sera you might have been fine. She could have provided padding for your kicked butt. (you'll get it once you do her quest) XD

I've been lurking in this thread for a while now, but never dared to post (I actually never post on forums as a rule). Just popping in to say you're all fantastic and have managed to keep me entertained while waiting for the game to arrive (still waiting here!). Also, the spoiler tags are very much appreciated - the other threads seem to be flooded with spoilers for all to see, so cheers for being so diligent!

In any case, Sera is awesomesauce! Can't wait to meet her, though I'm a bit apprehensive with all these complaints about m&k controls everywhere,,,

Step 3: Fight the boss of that questline.

Step 4: Choose whether to recruit or conscript the faction you chose (it's a dialogue option: no turning back once you've made your choice)

I did recruit the mages as 'partners' to the Inquisition and lost approval with her.  At first, her approval gains were all over the place, but I *think* it's pretty high now (her tarot card changed for some reason...I think it might be b/c I'm on the 'high approval' path?)  

 

There are War Table missions that help, plus getting small gains on side quests.  My biggest gains seemed to come from flirting with her though.

I was NEVER this hyped for a game. GTA V came close, but after what they did in regards to PC... The hype's gone, I'm not even sure if I'm buying that one.
