Right, just recruited Sera.

I'll be honest, initial pre game impressions were not good. In fact she was the only character of the 9 I was pretty sure would annoy the **** out of me.

Actual recruitment? That was worse, cause not only was she axe crazy, she had a very immature and weird moral compass (and that is me being kind).

But my Marcus was a pragmatists, and the promise of a good bow arm and an underground network seemed good to deal with her.

But still, not impressed.

Then we chatted, and bloody hell, she takes Varric's place in team. Bad moral compass included.

I know, just as surprised.

But to finally, finally have an elf that has a logical, sensible take on the whole "we dalish, wah wah, culture and ****, wah wah" was so damn refreshing.

I still have issues, but hopefully as she banters she will grow on me.

But first let she and my inquisitor drink and mock the Dalish, yay.

YourFunnyUncle, because I don't think anyone replied...yes you can string along multiple LI. I'm having a hell of a time getting Sera to like me, so I absolutely am keeping Josie and Blackwall as "backup"

Has anyone gotten the chance to talk to Sera about what happened during In Hushed Whispers? Kind of annoyed that I could talk to the other two companions I brought with me (and Solas too, for some reason) and Leilana, but nothing from Sera. Wonder if it's just an approval thing, or if she just doesn't have an option to talk about it.

Did I miss something, because I could tell Solas "I saw you there", but I didn't bring him. Did we have a vision of him I missed or something? Or maybe it was just late and there was a flashback to him I forgot? xD I found that strange though. As for the companions I brought, only one of them really talked about it, I think... plus Leliana. I wanted to thank them all for sacrificing themselves for me. :'c

Amazon is having supply issues with the CE guide due to a large number of preorders. However, they do have the standard guide in stock.

 

None of the extra pages in the CE book are of consequence. You could buy the standard guide instead and you'll still get the full material.

Hello Seranaders!

I've been lurking in this thread for a while now, but never dared to post (I actually never post on forums as a rule). Just popping in to say you're all fantastic and have managed to keep me entertained while waiting for the game to arrive (still waiting here!). Also, the spoiler tags are very much appreciated - the other threads seem to be flooded with spoilers for all to see, so cheers for being so diligent!

In any case, Sera is awesomesauce! Can't wait to meet her, though I'm a bit apprehensive with all these complaints about m&k controls everywhere,,,
