So I'm playing my female Qunari character, and after recruiting Iron Bull I asked Sera what she thinks about him, and I've seen something I really didn't like. I'm not sure if it qualifies as spoiler, but just in case:

Maybe it's because I'm very sensitive about this subject due to the fact in movies and TV shows lesbian characters almost always are "de-gayed" in some way (usually simply by ending up in bed with a man and obligatory looking like they have the best time of their life), but it kinda sounded to me like she was slightly attracted to him.

 

When asked about him, she laughed in similar manner as she did in response to my character's advances and said that he makes her wonder about (and here she made a pause and spoke the word in a bit suspicious way) "things", thought later she brought up the Qun so it could be just it, but first she said: "he's got nothing on you" after that already kind of suspicious sounding line. If that was about Qun then why would she mention my character and how much better she is than him?

 

I've read somewhere here that if I didn't play as Qunari, she would say something about Bull making her wonder how Qunari women look like instead. She was expressing since the first encounter clear attraction to my Qunari. So what does that "he's got nothing on you", the speech line that was made apparently only for female Qunari characters she's crazy about, is supposed to mean? He's hot, but you're way hotter?

Sera: Hahah, he makes me wonder about... things. He's got nothing on you, but that Qun stuff, I don't know.

 

If you play as a non Qunari it's clear that it's the though of Qunari women that appeals to her.

Just met Sera myself and I have to say she's actually one of my favorites so far. I just love her manic pixie behavior, pretty damn funny

Your Vallaslin is much paler though. Mine has... green.
THankfully the game looks stunning on decent frames, too.

On the one hand I personally don't like the look of Vallaslin in general, but on the other she wouldn't be Dalish without them, so this is my compromise... I was pleased by the way her eyes turned out too. I got that green "fade touch" on the outside that I wanted. Still, I'm going to have another go, to see if I can make one with less gaudy make-up.

I'm really enjoying Cassandra and her awkwardness, but I think Sera is slowly trolling her way into making me start a new playthrough so I can romance her even though I am nowhere close to finishing my first.

I had the first flirt already. She responded with "Maybe. Perhaps."

 

Was yesterday though. Gotta wait about two hours before I get back home to continue the romance. Or, maybe three. Somewhere between.

 

It's awesome. Easy over 90 total from me so far.

 

There's this one problem I have with starting the game - it tends to freeze on connecting to DA servers, but when it connects, I have no problem at all playing. Returning to main menu isn't a friend, but who needs to return to the main menu, amirite?

 

 

Also, on an unrelated note, Lady Insanity mentioned in one of her videos that there's some sort of face capture for the Keep at the end of the CC, but I didn't get anything. Anyone got anything such?

I am not doing the Sera romance anymore (didn't work with my character, gonna roll an Adaar for her next ) but I'm still a Seranader!! That girl and y'all are awesome.

I can't find any youtube videos of the Sera romance. I've seen videos of pretty much every other one. Am I gonna have to just be the one to record and upload one? I'm still playing so slow, I have a hard time believing NO ONE will have uploaded one before I get there...

The make-up is more subtle, definitely. Her face is a bit longer, isn't it? She's pretty. Her eyes are gorgeous.

Yes the preset that I used this time had a longer face. It was actually the dark-skinned one, and even though I was planning a pale-skinned inquisitor I liked the overall shape as a starting point. I love what you can do with the eyes. Just about exactly what I had in mind.

 

I think I'm going to stick with her.

It's a list of things, but at the bottom are things she's tried because your Inquisitor showed interest in them. As an example, my Inquisitor was very embracing of the "Herald of Andraste" title, so Sera had found a "religious book" and tried reading it(and having others read/explain it to her), she later adds on more stuff to it after a certain scene in the romance line. It's pretty damn adorable, if you ask me. I'm not sure if more stuff is added to it only if you romance her though, I hope more gets added to it over time. This probably also makes her one of the few romance we replayabllity, I'm pretty sure each entry on the list can change depending on how you act.

Same. The game is too good to rush it. Besides i always do fetch quests/companion quests first before the main missions.

40 plus hours in and nowhere near done this game is awesome and Sera's romance so far is the best one in DA i love it
