Hi peeps, just thought I'd look by and give my two cents about Sera. No spoilers.

 

I've played for 40 hours now and am maybe 25-30% into the story by my best guess (Yeah, I do a lot of the side quests).

 

I have not found Sera at all hard to romance with an elven Inquisitor. I remember there was some talk a few days ago about them getting approval penalties when flirting with her.

 

If anyone would like non-spoiler guides to what makes her tick, quote me. But she's not a great mystery once you get to know her, so I assume most won't find it troublesome on their own.

i don't think it's harder to romance her as an elf but it's less funny. Sera's prefrence for height is gives u banter u wouldn't get if ur not qunari (which I'm glad I picked). Also why that nickname? -

I think it's disappointing. 

 

I'm over the moon there isn't. Not every relationship has to result in sex, nor does sex solidify the fact that you love your partner. Sure sex is after all a part of the relationship but some people are just not comfortable to the notion of making love to their partner before they feel the relationship is ..locked in for lack of better term- marriage or just emotionally (me being the former).

I'm not reading much about it because I'm far from finishing the game and Josephine is my LI, but yes that's the fuss. The writer had intended a certain scene to be ambiguous, it's up to you to decide whether they were together physically or not, granted I hate it but I see her point to an extent.

It just seems weird that every other romance has a sex scene, with the exception of one other. Also sex is one of the best parts of life as far as I'm concerned, I don't need to see thrusting butts or anything graphic, but I did find a kiss and fade to black extremely unsatisfying and it makes me much less likely to peruse her as a romance honestly.

On the one hand, it seems silly to think that no sex scene means celibacy. Do we really need to see a cheesy sex scene to complete a romance.

On the other hand, I'll be able to complete my quest to "Tap dat Cass" (yes, I created that thread title) so maybe I do need that cheesy sex scene after all. lol

Okay, I'll put it in the spoiler tag here for you:

Rule 1: Don't mention elves. Sera dislikes that because she beleives in action as a judgement basis for people and don't like to be compared to specific groups.

 

Rule 2: She approves of harsh judgement upon those who have wronged you. She does not see vengance as a selfish thing.

When you get into power eventually you will have to think of that when passing judgement.

 

Rule 3: No "deals" from either mages or templars. People bow to the Inqusition or get out of its way, that's what it should be to her.

 

Rule 4: Protect the little guy, mock the nobles. She really dislikes nobles.
