My mage is more damge oriented and closer to the action than Dorian who'll be a full support mage.

Yes, knight enchanter makes a 4 mages run entirely possible. Its one of if not THE BEST CLASS to play nightmare with.

Is there a known trope for the situation where heroes are sent through time only to find it's all gone worribly wrong and must travel back to fix it ?

 

This quest reminds me of the second BTTF film, and as wondering where it's also been encountered.

I'm also rolling YOLO: IB tank/melee DPS, Inquisitrix DPS mage, Dorian support mage and Sera ranged DPS.

Yeah, its even got its own page on TV Tropes. The trope is called "reset button" and it specifically points out "time travel" as an often used excuse for a reset after some very nasty events happen.

As for my team, Me (knight enchanter) + Cassandra + Varric + Sera. Its one of the best teams for nightmare difficulty. Though sometimes for random exploring I'll use team solo swag because Iron Bull + Sera + Dorian = some hilarious banter.

Just tell me. Do you actually need to ever take Sera along for anything or interact with her in any way? Because I found her horribly annoying in our first encounter. It was like fingernails on chalkboard. 

 

EDIT: Just to be clear, every now and then Bioware tries a little too hard to make a character cute and quirky. Maya Brooks was another example of this (the reveal was actually a relief). Merrill was occasionally borderline.

She seems entirely optional. But I'd recommend taking her out a few times more, because I think her first scene is not her best.

Sera and my Quizzie are friends now and I love their relationship. She's so interesting and the more you learn about her, the more interesting and human she feels.

I have similar issues with Merrill...adore her, but she's a bit cutesified at times so I get that concern and I don't think Sera falls into that trap after you get to know her better.

Yeah, Sera is definitely quirky... but then she has these moments where she makes sense to me and I'm happily surprised. I think she gets better the more you talk with her.

almost at 60 hours, in the Exalted Plains and still have the Emerald Graves, Emprise du Lion, The Hissing Wastes and the Arbor wilds to go along with two more main story quests. I've fully romanced Sera but she still has several scenes and probably/hopefully one before the end game quest. To me she is the best character in the game and probably my most favorite party member in the DA series. She is so cute and funny but there is one scene where she is just so sweet but I won.t spoil anything.

Hey guys, anyone know if it's possible to dance with Sera at the Winter Palace? I got a scene with Josephine at the end and the option to dance with her, which I thought was kind of random, but I have flirted with her a couple times. Is that scene LI specific or is it always Josephine?
