You don't get to see it, but after the picking the winner of the throne you can ask Sera to dance with you.

Are you sure? I asked Sera when she was standing about in the Ballroom about dancing and she said that she didn't like dancing. The only person I saw after that event was Josephine and then it was back to Skyhold for me.

I saw some people mentioning Sera's nicknames for the Inquisitor before and I just got to that part. She initially called my Inquisitor

I'm continuously impressed with all the art in the game, even most of the quick codex ones on the loading screen are just gorgeous. Loooove it.


So much beautiful detail in this game.

Like yesterday I broke a door and looted it and the item I got from it was "Sad Splinters" or something like that, and the description of it was "the despondent remains of a once proud door."

This game. I love it.

Her accent is the best thing I've ever heard. It's exactly how I imagine rich people in their country estates sound when they're mocking us poor commoners up north. The way she says "innit" is one of the least convincing and most endearing things in the world.

She calls my Dalish Elf Inky. Or used to.

 

I spoke to her about petnames... Now it's tad-something.

 

Guess she was referring to the Vallaslin.

See the I-N-K in the beginning of the pronunciation? Yeah. I think that's where it's coming from. Inky.

Sera went from Inky to Teetness and ended on Buckles for my elf.

 

I guessed inky's meaning, but am unsue what teetness and buckles are referring to. Maybe teetness is just a twist on "sweetness" kinda wish I stayed with that one.

Being a Dalish Elf and trying to get Sera to like me is an interesting endeavor. I figure being Dalish my Inquisitor would be pretty pro old ways and pro Elf which puts her at odds with Sera. It seems like the only way would be to play a Dalish who hates being Dalish. Also been playing a Mage that is pro Mage and about giving Mages a chance to mend fences. Yeaaah she didn't like that either >.>. At least she seems to sort of like my character flirting with her though her responses are not that much. Characters don't seem to talk much to me there is the initial meeting where you can ask a few questions then nothing for ages except for a comment on what side you pick. Then earlier today got to Skyhold and got something new from Sera and was able to respond with a flirt and then it just sort of ends lol. It's pretty much like this with everyone i'm still stuck only being able to repeat the same questions from when i first met them apart from once in a while when something big happens they will say a line about it.

I brought her with me when I quested for the dalish in the Exalted Plains, but she did not disapprove of anything then, the subject of being an elf with her only comes up if you actively persue it.

She doesn't like groups, which invlove both Mages, Templars, Dalish and nobility; they are all excluding groups of people who think they are better than others to her.

Perhaps you weren't far enough in the relationship to get it, but she was the last one who came up to me.

Well that sucks. I had done nothing but flirt with Sera and pick options that increase her approval up to that point and instead of giving me the character I was interested in, they hand me freaking Josie, who I had never flirted with once and make me miss out on a Sera scene?

She is so hard to understand too.

I actually don't think she's that crazy or hard to understand, and I wonder if that's in part because I have ADHD and Sera seems so ADHD to me? Her speaking patterns and body language and emotional regulation...they are all just so familiar.

I was prepared to absolutely adore Sera... the dedicated lesbian character in the game... but 20 hours of gaming in and, OMG I absolutely hate her instead. (I will say kudos to Bioware because they've done it again and made characters that I both love and hate in a new game )   I'm crushed that I can't see any of the characters that I will roll being able to put up with sera's antics... she's a serious case of nuts in my opinion and not romance material. Good for a laugh occasionally as a party member though - reminds me of my teenagers (especially the one who is autistic spectrum).
