Sera is so CRAZY OMG.
She is so hard to understand too.
she speaks normal to me and exactly how my friend speaks.

Being a Dalish Elf and trying to get Sera to like me is an interesting endeavor. I figure being Dalish my Inquisitor would be pretty pro old ways and pro Elf which puts her at odds with Sera. It seems like the only way would be to play a Dalish who hates being Dalish. Also been playing a Mage that is pro Mage and about giving Mages a chance to mend fences. Yeaaah she didn't like that either >.>. At least she seems to sort of like my character flirting with her though her responses are not that much. Characters don't seem to talk much to me there is the initial meeting where you can ask a few questions then nothing for ages except for a comment on what side you pick. Then earlier today got to Skyhold and got something new from Sera and was able to respond with a flirt and then it just sort of ends lol. It's pretty much like this with everyone i'm still stuck only being able to repeat the same questions from when i first met them apart from once in a while when something big happens they will say a line about it.
Proud Dalish here, lethallin (lethallan?) - no problem getting her approval. Sure, I hit slight disapprovals every now and then, believing in the Elven Gods and generally being loyal to the Dalish... But Arianne sees the little people and cares for them. They have one thing in common - the nobility is a bunch of a-holes to them - with the Dalish Elves. The fact the people themselves hate the Dalish... Most of that hate is built on stories that are about as true as most of my country's politician's election promises.

She's awesome. Then again, I think you're one of those bosh'tets who'd call me completely nuts and refuse to talk to me.
I can smell that stuff by now.
No problem understanding, either.
I really like her. So far my dwarf has gotten along great with her. We are both criminals and had to deal with that stuff. And while she is a serious character, she genuinely enjoys Sera's joy and doesn't find her crazy at all. More impressed she can be the way she is, and a bit envious.
Sera has turned out to be an endless fountain of new and interesting expressions. And as someone who steals interesting and funny expressions and vocabulary from the different English dialogues in to my own vocabulary i couldn't be happier with this Eris incarnate ![]()
As a slightly rude but funny example,
Is now officially part of my arsenal of creative insults ![]()
Edit: And a little helpful tip for those who, like me, pursue her with a proud Dalish ladyquisitor
(slight spoiler)

Made my promised Bow for Sera. First of many I hope.

Oh Creators!
I tried the Hinterlands Dragon. Fereldan Frostback.
Wow! That thing has 96 thousand HP. I got party wiped half way through, but I'll use the excuse of inability to switch control of party members - for some bug or another.

I nearly got killed by her, thankfully I had the KE focus ability.
No. You misunderstood my response. I'll try again, but nothing kills the player/reader/viewer experience like a writer explaining a character.

I wanted to thank Lukas again for this comment. I've checked out this game's thread on one lesbian forum lately, and there was lengthy discussion about what Sera said about Iron Bull, with lots of angry people. Someone quoted Lukas's clarification and it calmed down the moods. But that made me think that if so many lesbians read it like I did, then there's no doubt that many non-lesbians who play this game will interpret it this way as well.
Unfortunately context created by pervasive damaging myths about lesbians affects how people perceive the reality, what they make of ambiguous situations (I mean, just look at this thread, at how many people totally embraced the interpretation that Sera meant by it "he's hot, but you're hotter" and had no problem with it), so when writing a lesbian character it's easy to walk into a mine.
But at least thanks to Lukas's clarification it can be proved now to those people that their interpretation is incorrect.
Throne judgments of prisoners seem a new quick way to get approval from Sera if you are harsh to those who have wronged you or your people. She seems to believe in revenge when it's appropriate. It's sort of interesting reading various takes on her character from people. Some say she's too over the top and forced and some really love her. I think some people don't seem to know people who talk like that really do exist XD. Went to Uni with one...Also dressed like that outfit you first see her in....And is a lesbian. Maybe that's why i ended up liking her more than finding her annoying. I guess it's like how some felt with Merrill in Dragon Age II and her Welsh accent.

I'm playing a Dalish elf. It's definitely possible to romance her. She'll even acknowledge, repeatedly, that "you're an elf, but..." You can take some hits on approval when going all elfish and still be fine.
Just realize that her conversation pieces are tied to the passage of story events and how active you are with Red Jenny stuff in the War Room. You'll unlock more chances to expand their relationship the more you do involving her interests.
All hail the mighty dragon-slayer Arianne Lavellan!
The Fereldan Frostback lies dead!
Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!

Tempests are just plain awesome, I've learned.

Spiked Longbow and Guarded Longbow Grip schematics from the shop in Val Royeaux. Expensive, but I play slow, and I keep a free advisor on a money gathering quest at all times. The materials are common Tier 1 stuff (Iron is the main bow ingredient) except that It has some Bear Leather which is tier 2. I think the grip is all Canine Leather.
I had Iron Bull with me on my first Dragon Kill in the Exalted Plains. Was awesome.

Hmmm I think I'll have to make her a bow myself. problem is deciding what materials to use... that and not actually having my 360 cause the stupid 4gig internal hard drive failed.... ![]()
Okay: Just going to stick with a Qunari warrior, and wondering how Sera reacts to the warrior specializations. Anyone have a video or something on the subject?

Speaking of money, the "valuables" are just waste cluttering my inventory or do they have an actual purpose ?

Junk edit: Unless it's creature parts, which you can turn in for research to Minaeve (or whatever her name is).

Wow. So many characters from the books in the game.
I metSpoiler
Kinda shame I solved the Mage-Templar bit and haven't met Evangeline, Rhys or Adrian though.
Maybe I'd need to set my Keep up differently, or take adifferent path altogether to meet those three.Spoiler
Note regarding levels: You can't complete Hinterlands until lvl11-12. There are a few Fade Rifts around that level. I kept getting my party wiped, but now I've returned as lvl12 and it was the exact opposite.

Some are for quests too. I have a quest for Spider Egg and Spider Ichor. I accidentally sold Ichor several times and only realised the mistake later ![]()
