Speaking of Sera and Cole, she really is a bit of an arse to him and we never really get an in depth reason as to why. All poor Cole has said to her so far are compliments, something about her bow, and to try and help her(like he does) with something that happened in her past. At least she gave him a name after calling him "it" for a while.

Nah, she' s just blunt and doesn't think through what she says. If you wanna see someone who has something wrong with them, go play the Alchemist in multiplayer. I was in a match with one and she randomly just went, "I like potatoes, they grow in the ground."

So after plot things - swimming, elfyness - there was a fight and I had the option of ending the romance. I thought about it, was a cool moment.
Though it'd be nice if the main character could be as stubborn as everyone else and get away with it.

Not going to lie, Loved Sera's Character and Romance Arc sow well. She really does come a long way from not knowing what she wants too really loving you. Its really amazing. Although i'm disappointed its all over now... I love to see some DLC to continue Companion stories and Romances.. pls?
After much deliberation I decided I just had to post a comment in this Behemoth of a thread
I really have to give kudos to Bioware, they really know how to make awesome characters.
I have gone into the game with the intention of romancing Sera with my elven mage Inquisitrix (reading this thread might have something to do with that).
But after meeting Sera for the first time I suddenly was unsure. She was loud, rude and seemed all over the place with her thougts. In short, she seemed to be completely crazy.
So I let my Inquisitor (Inky ) get to slowly know her better and voila: Under all of this craziness is a very caring and sweet character that simply wants the best for "the people".
No further problems or uncertainties were encountered during this romance

Yes and no, It does feel closer to DA:O. But i think Bioware should have made their Side Quest, Should have been more about cutscenes than fetch and quest. Still though Companion sub-plots were on par. Especially Sera's (
) It could have been in DA:O Style where its one giant major story with cutscenes, Unlike lets say Skyrim with one major plot and a bunch of forgettable side quest. If that makes any sense.
