Here's the full script from that Iron Bull/Sera party dialogue.

 

Iron Bull:Sera, I have a thought. The next time we run into a band of enemies, I'll pick you up and throw you!

 

Sera:(Scoffs), get off.

 

Iron Bull:No! This could work! I loft you over the front rank and you land behind at the flank. Mayhem ensues.

 

Sera:I can't fly, you daft t.it!

 

Iron Bull:Think of the mayhem, Sera. Maaayheemm.

 

Sera:I'd get a wedge-up something fierce!

 

Iron Bull:Look, you and Varric are the only ones small enough and he's... pretty dense.

 

Sera:Well do some bloody presses!

 

 

Also, I gotta say, hearing what I could of her voice, and everything else that's been revealed the past few days I just love her do much. I still want Cassandra to be bi, but if she isn't I'm perfectly fine with going with Sera.

Companions can die from bad choices. Choosing to poison/destroy the ashes results in Leliana's death.

 

If what you mean is XCOM style bad choices then that wouldn't make any sense in a story based rpg. You make a few bad choices early, and suddenly your left with only 2 surviving companions. Also makes it hard on the writers, having to come up with 20 versions of various scenes whether certain companions are dead or not. I'd rather they spend the resources making actual story content than trying to turn DA into the rpg version of XCOM.

He wants companions to die as a result of the PC making poor choices, not because the PC murders them.

Actually I love the outcome of that choice and it part of my canon playthrough however it is one of a very few decision like and for the most part companions exist in a vacuum unaware of the player choices or simply don’t care about they may make comments on them but in the end your choices don’t really affect them

It does suggest that the most important part of her being gay is how men feel about it. Or that lesbians are inherently antagonistic towards guys.

It'll probably die down, and she'll just have fans in "general".

There were some people who didnt want to even include her in their party since shes gay(jackasses) and it was not only on the bsn.

It's at least better than the "Vitamin D" joke.   Now, if that cup had said "Tears of Cass" on it, then I could believe it.  Sera does look like she'd find Cassandra's discomfort with her delicious.

The Sera artwork posted is about how men feel about Sera being gay. You're not going to see a gay male character drinking straight woman tears because gay male sexuality isn't presumed to be about straight women.

As someone who's actually glad that Sera is a lesbian option, I find this fanart pretty disgusting, even if it was intended as a joke.

 

This whole notion that a character has to be romanceable in order to be fulfilling never bodes well with me. Especially in Dragon Age where it can be proven that it is in fact a false outlook.
