Yeah, definitely saw a lot more nudity than I ever thought I'd see in a Bioware game, lol.

@ Knight of Dane: I have not gotten that far, and I want to know about what she says about the warrior specs, particularly Templar and Champion.

Here's what she says for Champion (not in a romance; playing a dude, obv):

I don't know if this is the warrior spec Lukas said she had a problem with a few months ago in this thread. If so, it this was very mild - she didn't seem angry at all. No approval gained or lost. Just telling you not to get full of yourself~

The suggestion from Vivienne about getting Sera a gift is

for the Femquisitor to shave something crude in her nether regions. After she meets Sera in her room about the gift giving, they get on the bed to make out and it fades to black - the next scene (which I'm assuming only occurs if you went to Vivienne for advice) is the two of them naked on the bed with Sera's head basically between the Femquisitor's legs and she's like "I can't believe you seriously shaved that down there!", with her rolling off the bed laughing her naked a$$ off while the Femquisitor tries to offer an explanation for what she wrote. After Sera finishes laughing, she climbs back on the bed to make out with the Femquisitor.

I'm pretty sure that you cannot dance with Sera at the Ball. You have the option to ask her about it if you find her in the Ballroom and and she says that she doesn't dance(but you do get some approval, if I remember right). You can dance with Josephine because that's part of her flirt.

Well, that is good for the Champion, maybe I will go two handed Champion, or maybe go Cass=tank, Hera Adaar=Melee DPS with Reaver (but also have a point or two into Vanguard for Warcry Guard boos), Sera Ranged DPS, and a made (likely Vivienne) for the Barrier.

Well, I was flirting with her and I asked for a dance. She told me she can't dance.... and i didn't got any implications or something with her and the quizzy dancing.

Kinda shame I solved the Mage-Templar bit and haven't met Evangeline, Rhys or Adrian though.
Maybe I'd need to set my Keep up differently, or take adifferent path altogether to meet those three.

Cole DOES mention Evangeline by name, though. Also mentions Rhys, and there's a mention of Wynne in that dialogue.

Note regarding levels: You can't complete Hinterlands until lvl11-12. There are a few Fade Rifts around that level. I kept getting my party wiped, but now I've returned as lvl12 and it was the exact opposite.

I defeated those two fade rifts at 9th. I took Vivienne and Sera with me and Cassie. Changed to tactics. Fired one enemy at a time. Vivie used ice wall right on the rage demons. They fell like pancakes with Viv. and Sera replacing Dorian and Varric. Found a boss very weak to my lightning mage. He died too fast.

I've been watching some videos on youtube and reading the comments (I know, I know). So many people complain about bad writing for the romances, especially Iron Bull's and Sera's. I think they're pretty cool.

 

So many people have trouble understanding stuff Sera says. Maybe I'm weird too, because I get the gist of it more often than not. She has no brain to mouth filter though.

I wanted to thank Lukas again for this comment. I've checked out this game's thread on one lesbian forum lately, and there was lengthy discussion about what Sera said about Iron Bull, with lots of angry people. Someone quoted Lukas's clarification and it calmed down the moods. But that made me think that if so many lesbians read it like I did, then there's no doubt that many non-lesbians who play this game will interpret it this way as well.

Unfortunately context created by pervasive damaging myths about lesbians affects how people perceive the reality, what they make of ambiguous situations (I mean, just look at this thread, at how many people totally embraced the interpretation that Sera meant by it "he's hot, but you're hotter" and had no problem with it), so when writing a lesbian character it's easy to walk into a mine.
But at least thanks to Lukas's clarification it can be proved now to those people that their interpretation is incorrect.

I havent gotten here yet. I read that quoted line. She said, his philosophy, I dont know. Didnt feel to me that she said he is hot. Confused on that aspect, I know she isnt interested in men, and knowing that. That specific line didnt read as sexual attraction but an idea of thoughts as interesting, but hey..I find you hot, dont make this more than it seemed. Is what I got from reading that. *shrugs* not a lesbian...or a woman, I know she isnt interested in men. So I dont see that as her a statement of such. Tis my thought anyways. At least she isn't sleeping with a man like couple tv lesbians did.

Simply put. She admired his philosophy is all. And there is different types of attractions that doesnt mean sexual escapades will now develop. How else can I be friends with many straight or bi women and not have sexual ties with them? Same thing here as I see it. Now, I would be mad if she flirted with Bull with intentions of sexual favor. Sorry. I know two lesbians that love teasing men by flirting and no intentions but to frustrate their stupidity. I laugh with them cause the guy should know better. Sorry that was mean....but he is stupid anyways. Im not always a nice guy.

If you don't do Vivienne's idea, you get the same scene, just without the scene of them in bed.

hey seramancers! I have a question about her approval/romance. I just did the verchiel march mission, and I lost a tonnnn of approval. Can I gain back enough to continue the romance or do I need to replay it and be more supportive?

I may like that myself. I flirted with Cullen as a qunari, and watched him stutter. It was funny and cute.   I flirted with Black Wall one time, not any further, his face was quite interesting what he gave my Qunari.   Sera.......she really likes my Qunari, calling her Lady Bits. Josie was lost to the one time flirt. Dorian didnt give a flirt option I think. Cassie took the flirtations as compliments so kept pushing till she said, she wants to be friends, just like Cullen said cause I liked watching him squirm. Yep, I admit it.  He was fun to watch being flirted with a Qunari. I am still stuck in Haven home after 50 hours of playing......
