Okay well it depends on how far in the game you are. This march quest is the one with the noble she can kill, yeah?

 

Anyway, a good source to get approval from is judging harshly on those who oppose you. Execute some of those you get to judge. Personally I only did so to those I found deserving and I never really got too much disapproval.

 

Also conscripting groups rather than allying or banishing them can help.

I already 'allied' with a particularly large group of staff weilding people (if that is what you are referencing?), and I kind of want to see if there's a way I can say 'that was not such a great plan, dude," in reaction to Verchiel without losing massive approval

As for Sera's approval about recruiting mages or templars:

Sera only gives approval if you disband the templars. Though even if you recruit the mages its less disapproval if you conscript them. And either way, you can make up for whatever dispproval you get by doing Sera's Missions.

Not sure who you quoted there. But they dont realize, all 8 options is open for every person to choose from. The individual limits themselves, the game doesnt limit their choice. I like Solas's character better than I thought I would, so I will set up someone to delve into that romance now. I wasnt going to before. Cullen, surprisingly has me wanting to see where that leads now. I didnt think I would find him interesting to see how his turns out till I talked to him.

I got Sera as soon as I could and she's as awesome as I hoped! She's actually very funny and I love her weird way of talking! I've only gotten to flirt with her once so far but everything is very promising.

The areas in this game are gorgeous! I'm having so much fun just wandering around collecting stuff, killing enemies and upgrading Skyhold. Or trying to. I'm having trouble finding the stuff for some requisitions.

I got to the ... hot quest with Sera on my Elf Quizzy. Romancing her on an elf wasn't easy but it was worth it. And I didn't worry much about getting Sera's affection, "it all worked out in the end". The weirdest and funniest romance I've ever seen in games/ movies LOL. Good job Bioware, it was a blast.
