Have to say, as much as I'm loving this game, the lack of a storage chest is genuinely mind-boggling to me. Of all the things they did right in this game, such a mundane and basic feature is missing.

 

I'm still early in the game and already foresee a whole lot of micromanagement down the road.

 

What's the maximum inventory size allowed?

90 with both upgrades. I really do wish there was a storage chest as well, there were items that were useless that I wanted to keep, but they were just taking up space.

Same. I'm not sure why people are having problems. If you have some absurdly weak armor or weapons that no one in your party could possibly use, just sell them...Keep schematics and upgrades for modding, keep crafting materials, but just sell everything else.

Regardless, it doesn't really make sense not to have a storage chest when it was a feature in the last two games.

I'd be happy to have a chest that offers an additional 60-90 slots, for example. Doesn't even need to be that big. Just some kind of external storage mechanic to balance things out.

So in that bonus scene where you go through with Viv's suggestion, what is the middle option for the other races? Because as a qunari, I got to make a "demand of the Qun" joke. Do dwarves get to make a Deep Roads pun? I hope dwarves get to make a Deep roads pun.

Well, all the Inquisition related books, anyway... except The Last Flight, but I don't see relevance there yet. Maybe because I haven't read it.

The Calling and The Stolen Throne are hardly relevant to the Breach, IMHO. Except, maybe, Grand Enchanter Fiona.

 

Also, Varric said he needs to write Merrill. About two or three times... I don't want a mention, I want to see that Elf!

I think everyone else can say "because I was hungry" or something. You can find clips on youtube with a human and two elves. Haven't seen anyone romance her as a dwarf yet.

I think they're referring more to a storage chest indipendent from the inventory where you can put weapons/armours/trinkets you want to hold on to...for example, I never sold Aveline's first shield an sword after replacing them with something better, it felt very wrong to just sell off personal things like that. Same for the starting equipment of every companion.

Hell, I still have Sera's starting armour in my inventory, I don't want to sell it off. It would be nice to be able to put it somewhere in a chest and free some space, though.

You're definitely not the only one. The starting gear of every Dragon Age companion feels very personal and unique for the character, so I store them instead of selling them off. In ME1 the starting equipment for everyone didn't have the same personal feelings to it, so yeah, I sold those.

And I think I've just run into a possibly game breaking bug:

The War Table missions I assigned Leliana, Cullen and Josie to now have an "infinite" timer that doesn't count down. Timers are all stuck and I don't know what to do. I'm on xbox360 if it helps.

I got a mission on the Wartable with the words "Hero" and "Ferelden" in one phrase.

Uhm, the bug I encountered seems to be retroactive, if I go back to a previous save it still gives me the same problem...I'm screwed, methinks.

Edit: ok, I found a fix. It is a very silly method of managing war table timer missions, though. Basically if someone plays offline on 360 the clock doesn't get updated so the game thinks time has not passed and all the timed missions get a frozen timer: to fix this, just manually input the correct time, or go online.

Oh man, Sera just cannot win against Vivienne! Those banters are hilarious though. I'm back in the Hinterlands with Sera, Viv and Blackwall. Interesting convos so far.

I never use Vivienne in my party.

 

No direct dislike, but as I play a mage myself and Knight-Enchanter I have preferred running dual rogue or dual warrior. Mostly Sera + tank + damage (Bull, Cole or Varric.)

where the **** did that BIG ass bear come from in the Emerald Graves?!? We survived though...Sera, Cass, and Solas...odd party but we go together well and Solas has been so clutch!
