Color me intrigued... But I'm still puttering around in side areas to collect loot. I want to make some proper armor for my babeh. And a killer bow! And I need to find those blasted quarries to upgrade Skyhold. I need the Advance Scouts perk. Inquisition perks are so slow to gain! Time to farm requisitions!

And there is only one regret I have...

Our first playthroughs are always something special...

We make or break our bonds to the characters - regardless of who our Warden/Hawke/Inquisitor/Shepard likes or does not like... We build the bonds of our own...

We also experience things for the first time, and we are unspoiled if we choose so, everything being fresh...

 

I wish I had recorded some conversations and events from my first playthrough. They're memories, like any other...

I've made her a bow and armor and was a bit sad when I found a much better bow and armor for her. I'm going to try to make better ones now.

I'm slowly building up my strength so I can finally go to Emprise du Lion and kick some butt. I got flattened last time I tried to go there. That desert place sounds interesting too.

...and was faced with either denouncing the Dalish heritage that my Inquisitor had been taught all her life and had just witnessed happen before her-- or lose Sera, who just casually called her gods a bunch of demons. I'm not sure how I feel about this decision. I initially chose to appease her, but the result, I felt like, was undeserving. My Inquisitor just says, "Alright, they were all demons," or something along those lines, all cheerful and whatnot, then Sera acts like a child who just got her way and suddenly greatly approves after disapproving of pretty much every single choice I made during that last mission because I was too "elfy".

My dalish is an atheist who doesn't give a crap about traditions so it wasn't an issue but I can see how that would be jarring. I'm guessing there's no way to argue your point either?

It didn't seem clear to me that Mythal and co. are actual 'gods' though.

The whole game is pretty much 'let's take a giant dump on the Dalish'.

The Forbidden Oasis is a small map, but holy heck, is it a navigational nightmare!

 

Don't worry if you have trouble finding your way around, Dani.

That girl is really smarter than she lets on. I'm romancing her with a human and I asked her if it was a problem and she pointed out that it would ruffle some feathers : Elves would assume the Inquisitor was taking advantage of Sera while humans would just not like a person of prominence bedding an Elf and being pretty open about it.

 

And the fact that she tries to cook and sew even though she sucks at it is the most adorable thing ever. Raisin cookies... I wonder if Thedas has chocolate chips...

I love solving the Astrariums. Good bit of fun.

Indeed.

 

Though, part of me wishes they'd used real-world constellations like Orion and the dippers. I know Thedas isn't supposed to be on Earth but that could have been even more fun regardless.

Three if the "Stop Venatori Activity in the West" is what I think it is. Hopefully not. I mean, it's also within the Western Approach if you look at the map, right...

 

I watched a YouTube video trying to get the last two shards but I didn't understand what the guy was talking about. He used his horse to get to one of the difficult ones but it just didn't make since to me. He needed to show how he got to the top but in the video he was already there.

Hopefully there will be YouTube video's soon to help me on the areas that have me scratching my head trying to figure out how to get someplace. Stupid mountains!

Got all of them on foot. Tell you what, if you can record, how about you record which two you've problem with and I'll try to dig up the solution from my head?

I'm pretty sure you need a Mage for at least one.

 

 

Aw... I think I'll just spend today going through my saves, recording whatever I can salvage... For science... and memories.

The first time is always special, but so are successive playthroughs, just not in the same way.

 

And in a game this big there is always a little detail you missed somewhere that brings a bit of that initial joy of discovery.
