Still plodding slowly though, not looking at spoilers here.
So I'm wandering around with Sera and Vivienne in my party, listening to poor Sera get verbally eviscerated in almost every banter, and then in the Fallow Mire I talk to the Sky Watcher...
Vivienne is such a scumbag which is why I'll never take her anywhere even if she's actually a decent Mage. She just reminds me of these stuck up middle class types who think their opinions matter just because they have money and some amount of status. I think I'd hate her even more if that's possible if she started talking down to Sera.

If you take them both out, that's exactly what she does. But she's a great character because she inspires such hatred, and I find her banters very entertaining in a "love to hate her" way.

We may have completely different views but she's great character and i enjoy her banters and her evil snark.
I guess i don't hate that easily, unlike so many ppl do in the hate threads. Dat hate, jesus. Some really do need some chill pill.

I absolutely adore Viv because she get such reactions from other characters and that she really is someone that I can't avoid feeling one way or another. Brilliant character!
Well that's it. I'd run a mile from someone like that in real life but in-game I can just enjoy her nastiness.I love Viv. *shrugs*

Gods are gods. Though i wouldn't exactly take that guys words about anything elf related as entirely true anymore than

Not really, a powerful spirit posing as a god is just a powerful spirit. All it means is that there might be some truth to the old legends but it could have been easily distorted over the centuries, even the Dalish are first to admit a good chunk of what they known about their history has been lost and what they do know has been pieced together so the chance of it being inaccurate is pretty high.

Viv has a very persistent attitude. I also don't necessarily see eye to eye but I respect her as a character.

I don't. I think she has her head crammed up her ass and has come to prefer the view there.
Sera's hardly any better, though, as it turns out. It's a shame we don't get to see the full extent of her religious bigotry until so late in the game.
