Oh yeah, Leliana is still a tricky little bunny. I'm going to finish this playthrough even though I bungled some choices. It is my trail of epic fails after all. Mind you restarting this game seems a little... daunting.

I don't tolerate failure from my PCs unless it's small enough to ignore. I set myself back a long way in ME3 when I had to reload a save from before I doomed Kelly.

My first playthrough is always bungles galore. I sold stuff I shouldn't have, bought stuff that wasn't worth it, etc. Now I have a much better idea of how the game works, so I'll be better prepared when I play again.

Next playthrough I'll go with my original plan and romance Josephine. And the Fallow Mire is awesome for level grinding. Enemies respawning on command? Sweet!

Regarding earlier talk of wanting to be a shrink to our companions....I didn't think i would miss it but Sera is just so emotionally frail that i feel bad just having to watch it without really being able to help. She looks to the inquisitor to affirm that everything will be allright so much that at times quizzy seems more a mother figure than a lover to her. It's great writing when the same character can make me giggle and feel sad at the same time :)

On an unrelated note, our parliament here in Finland just struck down the final challenge for gender-neutral marriage law. ROOFTOP COOKIES FOR EVERYONE! =]

I restarted In Your Heart Shall Burn because I didn't realize I failed to rescue Adan and Mineave.

Luckily that quest was so epic I didn't mind doing it twice in an hour.

I missed the last one you need to save because you don't get enough time to deal with the tons of enemies before rescuing them >.<. I don't like to cheat and go back so i live with the consequences when i make mistakes. It creates some tension when i try to make a choice in certain things that look like they might impact something big.

I generally make a manual save prior to every main mission, though I rarely end up restarting.

Adan and Mineave were just too easy to miss in that quest.

DLC, perhaps? :P

Spoiler

Hey, quit diagnosing me!

It's still awkward, well my 6th grade sister walked into my room when that scene happened lol. Luckily, I haven't picked "it all worked out", so I chased her out and continued playing the scene.

I got lucky. My sis is about the same age (while I'm over 18, which in this country means I can do anything, except own a firearm unless I've an exception) but she was too busy looking in her own computer across the room.

Meh, I didn't heed Lady Ice Queen's and Lord Awesomeness of House Pavus' suggestions, anyway.

The 1st time Scout Harding appeared on Stream, I knew that it was Ali Hillis's voice. Although while I'm not sure, I think Jennifer Hale voiced Krem. If it's true, then that talent!

She did. Holy heck.

Commander Acclasi!

Wouldn't occur to me, but now that I know... It IS a lot like Commander Shepard!

You failed to save Minaeve? Shame on you!

I wasn't fast enough to help Adan. I swear, the interaction ended, and THEN he burnt to death. Minaeve was perfectly fine.

I failed to find my way to Seggrit in time, however. Damn ladders!

Also, do you have to save Flissa, or does she save herself?

It bummed me up that I just warmed up to Minaeve, Threnn, Adan and Flissa (kinda failed with Seggrit... I think he's a racist) and THEN, I find they've assigned a Tranquil on Minaeve's place, and Threnn got replaced by some jerk Morriss just because she supposedly has a problem with Orlesians? She seemed professional enough to let that slide when they're allies. Not to mention Flissa got replaced by some god'amn Dwarf I spoke to precisely ONCE and do not intend to ever do it again, because not interesting.

The problem is Adan and Minaeve are not only hard to see, but you also have about a minute to save both of them before they get blown up.

When I missed them the first time, I didn't even realize it until later in the mission. You can tell if you've saved everyone by the comment the Inquisitor makes once you've rescued the last one. (IIRC, if they say "We've done all we can," that means you missed one or more poor souls.)

Argh. I know I missed Seggrit, but did I miss Flissa? I actually heard Minaeve shout for help, and I thought it was Flissa so I investigated the tavern, but I didn't see anyone in there, so I went on and found Minaever and Adan.

Flissa is stuck under a structure in the tavern (close to where Sera used to be). She too is under a timer, but it's not as tight as those two.

I... admit, I find it difficult to see how anyone could tolerate Sera knowing what we know now.

Having just played last night, I reloaded as I didn't realise at first that there were two mechanics by which you save people... I THINK I saved everyone second time... Segritt, Flissa, Adan and Minaeve from the fire, the Templar woman whose name escapes me and Threnn.

They can, I know. I just find it hard to comprehend how.

It's deeply unfortunate that both elven companions turned out to be monsters.

There's six of them (seven if you count Harritt who just needs a door open).

Is the Sera info about her personal quest or main story?

Everybody has their own timer, right?

She's a deeply troubled young woman. I feel sad for her more than anything and would like to help her, but that is unfortunately not in the script :/

Mostly things related to the Arbor Wilds. Particularly Solas' romance.

Yes, they are all under a timer. But Minaeve and Adan are by far the most sensitive. You have to be super quick to get them.
