Yeah. As I understood it, you trigger each person's timer when you get near them, then you need to rescue them before it runs out.

I... admit, I find it difficult to see how anyone could tolerate Sera knowing what we know now.

 

 

They can, I know. I just find it hard to comprehend how.

It's deeply unfortunate that both elven companions turned out to be monsters.

 

It might be because not everyone sees "what we now know" and it is no problem for me, personally, since first, I will not see this content because of no Solas romance, therefore it might not even exist, and secondly she is kind of right even if the timing/way of expressing this is verrrry b*tchy.

 

If I dislike every character because they might say/do something if special circumstances are met, I would like none of them.

If my Inquisitor would encounter this particular scene, she might very well be put off, but I prefer to roleplay the game without the influence of meta knowledge.

The stinger was probably to balance out the straight forward ending.  Mind you, I liked that the ending was straightforward.

Do any of the companions in banter discuss the inquisitors romance with Sera? I finished the game and got nothing and never did get the marriage line. It was rather disappointing not to get all the content and I found out that Sera's approval wasn't maxed out as I replayed a section and didn't accept an alliance with Abelas and got approval. I never did figure out a way to get approval from Sera at the Winter palace and I didn't get any approval for having Morrigan drink from the well. My stubbornness is keeping me from moving on and starting a new game. It seems that the only time I was able to get approval in the last part of the game was by doing anti Elvan things.

The whole elf's getting less approval than anyone else has damaged my enjoyment of the game as I replayed things over and over and got more frustrated as I went along and by the end I just wanted it over. It's sad really, at least for me. Apparently other's playing as an elf didn't have these problems so I don't know what to think. Maybe it's a glitch on Xbox one maybe I screwed something up but if the approvals weren't so hard to get maybe there would have been a little room for error on my part.

I loved Sera's character, I know some are disappointed in a lack of growth and it would have been nice but my view is that's just Sera, you have to take her as she is. I actually enjoyed that she changes for no one and it's up to the inquisitors to accept the person she is or move on. Well I'm rambling now so I'll stop.

Did have Cassandra and Vivienne talk about Sera and Inky being together. Well mostly Cassandra but Vivienne did join in at the end when Sera made a little fun of Cass being a romantic

Oh dear, restartitis is coming in. I don't know if I want to continue the game I have now or start another... I guess I don't have to erase the first one but... I've done a fair bit of stuff, but it's mostly grinding... Arrgh, decisions decisions.

The Winter Palace? I recall getting a ton of approval from just about everything you can talk about. Can also try to ask her to dance which she laughs off just after you get inside but she approves there if i recall. Also

If you save Celene and have her exile Gaspard then she'll approve and also if you get enough court approval to get Florianne arrested.

Also after you go there she's angry about nobles you can get approval by handling that right. Most of her approval comes from personal quests it's quite easy to rack it up and during relationship scenes.

I'm at the same point lol i might push on and tie up some personal quests then finish the story so i can start fresh and do things better the next time. My next play will likely be my bad guy power hungry character though so Sera is not going to have a fun time XD

Yes, they are all under a timer. But Minaeve and Adan are by far the most sensitive. You have to be super quick to get them.

Made a few mistakes in choices, sold/lost rare equipment/materials by mistake, didn't plan proper inquisition perk spending, etc. Also I don't like my Ragequisitor's face.

 

And I discovered the item duplication glitch... and the infinite gold glitch... and the infinite influence glitch... I love breaking games! Don't judge me!

I did the romance as both a human and elf and (funny enough) my elf had the far easier time.  My elf Inquisitor was in a relationship with Sera shortly after gaining Skyhold and doing Sera's personal quest (in which she recruited the noble guy, btw).    With a human, it seemed to take longer and I wasn't in the relationship until after the Celene/Orlesian ball quest (so I didn't get to dance with her on that character).  My human let Sera beat the crap out of the noble in her personal quest.  It's kinda weird, lol.

 

I think the only racial difference is that the early flirt attempts get you a bit less approval.  But Sera must have liked the decisions my elf was generally making more than what the human did.

Sera just really, really needs her world view to stay stable . Magic scares her out of her mind and actually having to acknowledge that maybe the supernatural world has a hold on her life she isn't aware about... Its just too much. It would break her allready frail psyche so she will deny it to the death.

Then why in hell is she with the Inquisition? We're the organization for dealing with magical weirdness. And if her mind didn't break after being physically thrown into the Fade, I find it incredibly unlikely that acknowledging the Creators would.
