I think it's nice that the introduction wasn't "Hey, I'm Sera and I'm a lesbian!"

After all, does everyone need to know? No. The need for such knowledge comes if you hit on the character, aye?

 

Sheesh, watch me get in the argument.

 

Right in front of the final quest, not once Sera outright said she prefers women. Well, maybe except the romance bits, but that falls under what I just said.

Dorian only says he prefers men out loud (well, without romance, no idea there) if you're really being oblivious to it during his meeting with his father. That's it.

He does say that in a... "Finally you realized" or something tone, but I'm no expert on voice tones.

 

Well I haven't gotten to that bit yet. But then, that could be relevant. It's an issue that is dealt within families in the real world as well.

Whether a character is straight, gay or whatever they want to cal themselves shouldn't come into context unless it is relevant.

 

That's fine in principle but how do you define relevant?

 

Iron Bull drops his love for redheads into several conversations that aren't about hair colour, or his preferences. People talk about things they like, and people have different ideas about what is relevant enough to be the next line in conversation. I know I turn far more conversations into something about airships than I probably should, or Soviet airwomen, or Christopher Nolan films...

 

Of course not talking about things is also be part of someone's character.

Adorable and slightly terrifying. She has some serious personal anger in her. It was one of the moments where i actually felt for her.

I agree. I would be lying if I said I didn't feel something there.

 

I also lost some approval there because I didn't do what she was nagging me to do. Good thing you can regain it in the conversation back at Skyhold.

Well, when you're barely different... Not really THAT terrifying. Except you know, I don't think I'd ACTUALLY beat a guy to death. Na-aw. Not happening. Heck, I keep healthy distance from ANY sort of fight.

I'd love to see all possible Sera cards not really found a full collection anywhere though. I'm not even sure how many card possibilities there are.

Apparently if you spare him he ends up selling Influence boosters back at Skyhold, though there is a replacement you can acquire later if Sera kills him.

whew! this thread went somewhere after that 3 am post.

what I meant though was that perhaps her approval stems from the Inquisitrix being unafraid to flirt openly with another woman and perhaps THAT appeals to Sera more. It's hard to say.

she isn't immature. there is a wealth of experience there. you just have to listen down here.

also I took bae with me for the Redcliffe mission....

it was so endearing...she was both angry and hurt when you died..."I ran out of arrows...". Alexius will die by my character's hand. that is not up for debate. plus he tortured all the baes...I had Cassie with me too and you know my waifu is written to be there. Son gotta answer for that.
