So I just finished Sera's romantic arc with my Femquisitor. The love scene is... pretty damn hot. And funny. Like a woopee cushion that's on fire.
Looking forward to it!

"The Hanged Man" is a Romance tarot then.
I got it right after Sera failed to look out for what she's saying, and spilled a whole lotta "Love" in the room.
She's actually sitting upside-down on the Throne... or maybe your Quarter's chair.
I got the... other... (The one where her face isn't visible, and she points her bow AND middle finger towards the ground, legs apart) after I did pranks with her. I actually thought THAT is the Romance tarot. Until I got this.

I wonder, does Sera comment on Inquisitor becoming a Tempest?
I chose the Way of the Tempest, but so far, only Bull actually reacted to it.
Something about Gaatlok and whatnot.

I have to say, I was really disappointing with the romance, too many problematic things going on with her character.
I was expecting a under dog freedom fighter kind of Sera, instead she is just mostly for herself and not in anyway close to Isabela. I also find really disturbing that the only lesbian companion romance in all the games can be kick out of your party, also transphobic remarks were really sad, sigh.
Bioware really need to expand their lesbian and bi romances to more than rouges, mages and moral ambiguous, in the end I liked Cullen a lot more than Sera, which is the most surprising thing ever for me, how is that even possible??? some of her scenes are funny but she has no deep. I even expected to talk about her problems more with elves and magic but nothing, this was far worse than Sam romance and a really poor attempt at a lesbian one, in my opinion.
On the other hand I love her banter with some of the companions and has a problematic character but somehow it seem only hetero romances get the white knights.
Now that I saw/heard the banters, I really want to hear Cassandra or Blackwall or Vivienne discuss the romance with Sera.

Without spoiling too much, everyone gets the chance to comment.
I would like to hear the banters/comments for myself, is what I was talking about.
Yeah, Mihura...I feel bad for anyone trying to romance her with a trans woman Inquisitor. ;(
I think that's how they were trying to convey her "lesbianness" but they didn't need to do it that way.
That's... not actually an option in-game, as far as I'm aware. You can headcanon your pc as trans all you want, but expecting the game and the characters therein to acknowledge that... is sort of silly.
And if this comment is what I think it's about... how is saying that one is not interested in the D and instead very into the V, conveying "lesbian-ness" wrong? That's the definition, isn't it? Lesbians = sexually interested in the V. A lady may have D, and while that doesn't make her any less of a lady, it is a turn off to those only interested in the V. At least, that's my understanding of the idea.
What I want to know is, what exactly IS the "stereotype" surrounding lesbians who have short hair and are less feminine? That they exist at all? They're so extremely rare in mainstream television and movies that it's a big deal when they're seen at all, and in those cases they tend to be well written, because they were deliberately created to fill a void.
So yeah, when I see "Cassandra couldn't be a lesbian or bi, because that would be stereotypical!!!" I'm always wondering exactly what that means. Someone somewhere is going to say something homophobic/misogynistic about her? Too late, that happened anyway.
I have been saying this for awhile, in no way is a butch lesbian even allowed in media it seems like being butch at all is considered the worst a woman can be. I agree a character does not need to advertise it, but if say when she puts down a guy she could make it a bit more clear. I mean it is not completely out of character for her to tell him she likes women and use some sort of crude metaphor to do it. That seems very Sera. I have to admit it felt weird that you could flirt with anyone and only quite awhile down the road they shut you down. This felt very off, not just for Sera, but all the non Bisexual characters.

Hummm, I was addressing the the Orlesian Ball comment "She is really a He" or something like that, not really the D and the V whatever that even means.
I am ok with problematic characters and I still like her as a character but for the first big lesbian romance it is just really sad overall, especially when hetero romances seem to got always knights in shiny armor.

I'm sure most of the little people agree with her view. They are afraid of magic, it's normal behavior. I see that you don't like the romance but there are a lot of people do, it's just the matter of tastes/ opinions. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Guys. Gals.
I'm on a quest. I was digging around the crafting, and I want to make Sera's pre-change armor (As seen on the earlier screenshots)
To do this, I need to find a whole bunch of crafting stuff.
If anyone finds regular Hunter Coat Legs, let me know where they're hiding. They may be just what I'm looking for. May.
Any thoughts about the scene where
I didn't romance Sera simply because I wasn't interested, but, I love friending every one of my companions and enjoyed the scene a lot. It felt awesome to have a gal pal for my Inquisitor that simply wanted to have fun versus all the brooding and flirty and angsty male companions.
