omg I loved Sera's romance. I especially liked the scene where she talks about her dream and says I love a lot.
Yupp! Love that she love to say love a lot in that love full scene.
Love!

Ok maybe mentioned before, but I just realised that there is a song "Sera never was". So did Sera name herself after the song, or is the song about her, or is it all a coincidence.

The bard wrote it for her ( I think). Sera wrote " I think that minstrel Maryden is chatting me up. The song is creepy" in her notebook.
Btw, the name of the song is "Sera was never".
That's... not actually an option in-game, as far as I'm aware. You can headcanon your pc as trans all you want, but expecting the game and the characters therein to acknowledge that... is sort of silly.
And if this comment is what I think it's about... how is saying that one is not interested in the D and instead very into the V, conveying "lesbian-ness" wrong? That's the definition, isn't it? Lesbians = sexually interested in the V. A lady may have D, and while that doesn't make her any less of a lady, it is a turn off to those only interested in the V. At least, that's my understanding of the idea.
So did I hear correctly that you only get a sex scene with Sera if you talk to the right person first?
With a minimum of spoilers, could you guys tell me who that is? I don't want to miss out on the sexytimes! ![]()
I personally begin to suspect that Sera might need a friend/mentor more than a lover. Especially if the relationship with her lover is so brittle that

Her sex scene comes after a personal quest you get after the romance moves along a bit. Eventually you go to talk to her and a cut scene triggers which starts the quest. You'll have to talk to a few people then go back to Sera which will trigger a conversation which triggers the sex scene. Make sure you do companion personal quests asap especially for Blackwall (Not the warden related one the other one) otherwise it makes Sera's quest very annoying and you'll need to do other personal quests to do Sera's. You may have to agree with one person when you talk to them for Sera's quest I'm not sure if it effects sexy Sera time or not. It's literally the only person you get the option to agree or disagree.

You know what I agree with you here. Sera is highly immature emotionally and mentally, and it comes to no surprise that Solas seemed pretty desperate to educate about her people. I still love the character for her humor and weirdness but she has seriously issues when it comes to seeing her own hypocrisy.
Hopefully there's going to be some Citadel-like DLC that will allow the player to actually motivate her character to grow up little, because I would to see a more developed Sera be a more decent person that doesn't runaway screaming at anything that's unnatural or elfy.
Thanks guys!
Me neither. I wonder how tough it would be for them to put some special dialogue in for if you're actually a redhead...
In theory, on creation confirmation you have a script which pulls up the value on the hair colour slider and sets relevant plot flags according to its position. I think the problem is that it is simply more content.
I just killed my second dragon! Argh! I can feel the blood is boiling!
I haven't killed any dragons yet. Are some easier than others? I usually see them in the distance and just head the other way! LOL

Have Sera use upgraded Flask of Fire and then follow it up with Thousand Cuts. If you really want to be an d*** have another Rogue hit them with Mark of Death while you use Mark of the Rift then have said Rogue detonate Mark of Death. It's been my go to against every dragon I've faced so far.

This is the thing for me, that she has this issue through the whole game - her character arc and development effectively spends the entire game just spinning its wheels, not doing anything. She doesn't go forward, she doesn't go back, she's just... stuck there. I feel that the Sera I brought into the Inquisition in Val Royeaux and the Sera I passed on my way to my quarters after the final boss are pretty much unchanged. And it sucks because I can see a very blatant character arc of helping her to see other elves, elves who are willing to embrace their heritage, as fellow 'little people' who need someone looking out for them. Not that she needs do that, to drop to her knees in praise of the Creators, but accepting that others do and that it's no crime to do so. But that arc never takes off, never goes anywhere.
It just leaves me feeling like her entire character boils down to a marginalized person shouting "STOP BEING STEREOTYPICAL!" at other marginalized people. That's not a particularly pleasant trait, particularly for one of the characters we're supposed to emotionally invest in.

This happens incredibly often in the real world. I once broke up with someone after an argument we had over distant family history, even though our relationship was otherwise pretty normal. She wasn't very understanding about how sensitive the word "Nazi" made me.
Do you think Sera is justified in doing so? And why would she?
OK. I plan to side with the Templars in my current playthrough, and will need a list of the judgements for the people that will net boosts to Sera's approval.
Just PM me it, alright? Other than that, I do agree that Sera is childish, but I think it is the point of her character (That is refuses to grow up and is a red jenny because it helps her be who she is).

I think that it's perfectly understandable to break up with somebody if they don't share one of your core beliefs. And if your character thinks that that core belief of hers is stupid, then breaking up seems like a good idea.
The issue is her thinking my core belief is stupid, not the other way around. She's the aggressor in everything.
