The issue is her thinking my core belief is stupid, not the other way around. She's the aggressor in everything.
If you want to describe it that way, that's fine. It's still the same justification.

Moving on to more positive things about Sera...
Did anyone else squee with joy when you got a 'greatly approves' from her when picking the lets get married option on the dialogue wheel.
Because I sure did. ![]()

Why can't Josephine have things like this...?
Why can't Josephine have things like this...?
Because every romance is different?
Doesn't matter. Either way, one of the two people involved disagrees with something the other person thinks is very important. That is a fairly typical reason for relationships to end.
It is more than that actually, you can still go on with the romance and she ask you to
Why can't Josephine have things like this...?
You know the strange thing about it is that is out all the companions I would have thought that Sera would be the most opposed to the very idea of marriage, and while she does call you crazy for suggesting it she does still approve.
Hmm. Maybe there's more going on in her crazy head then first thought. Perhaps a couple years of marriage might make her less bitchy and stupid.
Either way I already made my peace with it, she is an Oghren type of character.
That's a horrible thing to say.
@comedic do ya mind Putting Spoiler Tag ? ![]()

You don't know, I thought it was obvious.
Bioware just hates you. In fact, they were planning on having Josie have a sex scene but pulled it when the mods found out you when getting excited for the romance.
It's tots true, bro.
are you drugs? marriage wouldn't change that. actually nothing would change that outside of her actually wanting it. it's quite unrealistic to believe you can change someone...even if you have influence, they have to want the change or they will resent you. unless it's something detrimental to the relationship of course...and then there are choices to make for both parties involved as long as they agree.
and I really wish people would stop referring to her as bitchy. Viv is magic bae but she IS that(and it suits her too). Love her too though because that's my only representation in the game aside from the characters I create. PlusSpoiler
Oh, man. Hey, I'm seriously sorry if you were in anyway offended by my b-word comment. To be honest, Sera's more aggressively ignorant than a b***h. I just used that word because it was the first to come to my mind, which sort of speaks volumes about my myself.
Once again, I had no malicious intentions to offend you.
Anyway, yeah your right that marriage alone rarely changes someone, but having a positive role model or partner in your life for several years who has a way of passively making you reconsider your beliefs can. I think the scene with Sera and the player on the roof taking about the cookies thing really shows that what Sera needs is a person whose willing to teach her more about the world and just how complicated it all is, how you can't just divide things into dangerous and normal. I really wish the romance took that theme and went with that.

Going to bed, Late as hell.
You know what i need? A Sera plushy.

is there a different sex scene then the fade to black one? because when Vivienne suggested to " shave me genitals" I said f*ck nah and my inquisitor still got de sex.
But only for humans.
She totally digs qunari.
I do agree that Sera is funny, but it just seems like she's only here to play the part of comic relief which seems like a waste of a perfectly good character concept.
I think Sera represents the "little people" .
They are scared , the sky is torn open , there's demons , mages are out in the streets , the Chantry is falling apart...
What they want is a Hero "The Herald of Andraste" who will make everything alright just like before.
I'm not sure she's just comic relief , she's there to show you , most people won't care about the how and why and your doubt .
They don't care about old Elven stuff , there's a monster coming out of their tales (Chant of light)walking among them and it needs to die badly. It needs to die and everything those people believe in , (magic bad , darkspawn bad , Andraste /Maker savior good) needs to be real so they all can sleep well at night .
Sera is not chaotic at all , she wants order , she doesn't want the world she knows to change .

This. So this. Sera is a real person, she's not fantastical in any way like all the others. And that's why I like her so much. S'why I also like her romance so much.
I see so many people complaining that she features no great leap of growth in character like you expect in a video game romance, but that's rarely how it works in real life. Sera's romance is the most similar to how relationships work in real life, you lie sometimes to make the person feel better, you go along with them most of the time no matter how crazy their being, because you love them, that's how it works, people rarely change to drastically, and that's what's great about Sera, she's real.
I was so surprised that Sera didn't leave my party in my first playthrough. I counted more "disapprove" from her than anything. She was a hard character to understand. But the depth of her really surprised me. I didn't romance her, and I don't think I got all of her scenes with her, but I really enjoyed what I "earned" so to speak.
Her stories were really touching
But I was like "please, don't leave my party when I choose this" lol.
Also she's a great DPS when I went dragon hunting.
She totally digs qunari.
Do you disagree with my description?
I would. Expressing an incompatible difference of opinion is not an act of aggression, even if you do find it offensive.
I personally begin to suspect that Sera might need a friend/mentor more than a lover. Especially if the relationship with her lover is so brittle that

I did record it, as far as I remember. Should I upload it?
when is the line drawn between healthy discourse and beating a dead horse? People on this forum have NO chill man. Every time I venture outside this thread...I question how these people operate in real life. Everything is a crisis to them. The hood woulda swallowed them by now. Ugh. Had to get that out my system.
Now then...I am stuck on the storm coast. got my eagle eye perk and alla dat but I can't see the path to get in that cave with the locked entrance. Help!

The locked cave? Try the War Table if it's the Red Templar outpost.
Sera has called Vivienne a ****** so many times, I've lost count.
And I agreed with her, every single god'amn time.

Mornin' Poodle.
Just preppin' to jump at some work. If everything goes right. Which it SHOULD.
