Different convo. It's not long after but she was scared of the Fade and what she saw so you help her through that and later she'll be upset about something else and the marriage comment is in that which basically locks in her romance. There should be a romantic personal quest too before it if you have not had that yet

im at the second to last mission and I haven't seen this one option yet can I still get it? Or am I going to have to....reload a 20 hour save.

Though, honestly, the Inquisitor's dialogue is pretty terrible here too, because Sera made the jump from "not immediately declaring that everything in the Temple of Mythal was demonic" to "attacking her for being insufficiently elfy," and the Inquisitor has no option to clear that up. Not to mention the crappy phrasing of the denial line, which seems to exist solely to make Sera feel worse despite there being no logical reason to say it like that. So, while I can maybe buy this as being in keeping with Sera's deep character flaws, the Inquisitor is just a badly-written moron to create contrived drama.

I don't get why its like that for the elves either really. When I played as a qunari and did this scene she said I could believe whatever as long as I didn't bring it up or something( can't remember the exact lines). not to mention your line that "agree's" with her and continues the relationship is angrily telling her to shut it... which she greatly approves of apparently.

Haha the more I hear about Sera's romance, the more I wonder what kind of conversations they had when they decided to have four playable races that would be available to her.

I sort of wonder that if she wasn't the only lesbian LI, if they might have gated her against elves.

...but I haven't done her as an elf romance yet, just speculation based on what I see here and on tumblr etc.

I found most of the nicknames kinda silly, but I saw a video where she called the Inquisitor "Honey tongue" and I kinda hnnng'd a bit, haha.

 

Also as far as what game she would play? Saints Row for sure.

So far she's called me "Her Gracious Ladybits" quite a lot, but I guess that's a common experience for most in this thread.

I almost started her first mission thing but it's in Crestwood where I've not been yet so I reloaded and left it for later...

What difficulty are you playing on? Blackwall with his spec tree is the best tank for me. He never takes damage and made it easy for my DW rogue to do her thing. I was doing normal mostly, some hard.

 

Same. Blackwall = The Wall Of "Can't Touch This"

 

But spec Cass the right way, give her the right kit...

She's just as good.

that spirit lady LOL! she was so upset because no one did anything she commanded them to do so I helped her after consulting Solas and Cassie. She was indignant as ever and it just tickled me so. "Some demon had the nerve to chase me across the lake!" hahaha omg! Now the tragic...I think this mayor may have intentionally flooded the Old Crestwood. Oooh lordt if I have to judge him later...

Honey Tongue is a romance nickname. I think I got it after the confession scene. I didn't go for the marriage option, and Arianne is Honey Tongue ever since

Sera and elfiness is a complicated subject. She claims that she doesn't care about that stuff but honestly, someone who doesn't care wouldn't ramble about it at every given opportunity. You have to remember how much crap (sometimes literally) get thrown at elves in thedas, how Sera bases her identity on things outside of herself and mostly importantly how she does NOT deal with things at all. She runs away and hides from issues but never deals with them. I think that elfiness is a source of deep pain for her, one which she tries to shut out but has to face every time she looks in to a mirror. Combine this with her fear of the Nothing and you get a double whammy of not only having the foundations of her safe, familiar world crumbling but also having her elven loved one raising uncomfortable questions within Sera about the reflection in the mirror. "Nothing you do matters to anyone. Nobody cares about what you think. You will achieve nothing. You are nothing. Not even an elf. " That's what i imagine the little voice of her misery is whispering in to her ear. Elfiness is the last line of defence her psyche has. It causes her pain and she shuts it out but she will cling to it like a drowning woman rather than face The Nothing. When the elfquisitor professes belief in what she has seen its diffrent than the others because it not only undermines the foundations of her world but coming from another elf, someone she trusts and loves on top of that, tears at her lifeline by creating the suggestion, even if it only exists in her mind, that she can't even be an elf. That's how much she looks up to our quizzy.

Not really. Being an elf is something she knows she is but it causes her immense psychological pain. But its not nothing. Having that taken away from her by suggesting she can't even be that, if only through her rather active imagination, is soul-crushing for her. Anything to stave off the nothing.

Me and Sera are totally a couply couple! The sexy scene was actually very nice and funny. She calls me Buckles! At first she called me Inky but when I asked about it she changed it. LOL

 

I wish crafting was easier. I either don't have supplies or don't have patterns. And not enough money to buy quality stuff. Leveling takes forever and fade rifts are either easy or kick my ****** ass! I STILL have a crappy sword and no way to get a better one. Not even a pattern to make one. The balancing is pretty messed up it seems.

On a lighter note. I heard SeraxCass banter where Sera made a joke about Cass's full name and her undies. And Cass laughed with honest amusement.  And thats why Sera is the best
