I just looked in the Keep...y'know...to see the world states I made (3 of them)..and they are all GONE!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Did this happen to anyone ??? Where are my World State ??? All I'm seeing is the default one ..........Grrrrrrrrrrr!

 

Edit: Nvm..I found them....they changed the Keep......thats why lol

Hey , how did you choose which world state....to use for your playtrough ?? 

 

I made a Femcousland + Alistair . ANd a City Elf + leliana , and Mage Amelle + Leliana.......

 

Any advice ?? 

 

I be siding with Mage..cose I'm bonker that way lol but I don't know wich world state to pick for my Qunari . I though The Cousland.....cose a Qunari has no tie to the royalty . But..will I be able to resist Leliana..........arghh....HALP!

This is actually something i wanted to cover in my last post, but kinda forgot so here goes:

Sera and elfiness is a complicated subject. She claims that she doesn't care about that stuff but honestly, someone who doesn't care wouldn't ramble about it at every given opportunity. You have to remember how much crap (sometimes literally) get thrown at elves in thedas, how Sera bases her identity on things outside of herself and mostly importantly how she does NOT deal with things at all. She runs away and hides from issues but never deals with them. I think that elfiness is a source of deep pain for her, one which she tries to shut out but has to face every time she looks in to a mirror. Combine this with her fear of the Nothing and you get a double whammy of not only having the foundations of her safe, familiar world crumbling but also having her elven loved one raising uncomfortable questions within Sera about the reflection in the mirror. "Nothing you do matters to anyone. Nobody cares about what you think. You will achieve nothing. You are nothing. Not even an elf. " That's what i imagine the little voice of her misery is whispering in to her ear. Elfiness is the last line of defence her psyche has. It causes her pain and she shuts it out but she will cling to it like a drowning woman rather than face The Nothing. When the elfquisitor professes belief in what she has seen its diffrent than the others because it not only undermines the foundations of her world but coming from another elf, someone she trusts and loves on top of that, tears at her lifeline by creating the suggestion, even if it only exists in her mind, that she can't even be an elf. That's how much she looks up to our quizzy.

 

Phew. Sera is is complicated  >.<

And why is it that the Inquisitor can never raise any of these issues? That's almost more frustrating than Sera herself.

a corpse with chain mail bikini. I could loot it for "Inadequate Chain Mail", which I can give to Dagna... I wonder what for...

and killed another dragon!

 

P.S.: Sera's my little grenadier, with a staggering amount of FOURTEEN grenades, split in half into offensive (Jars of Bees) and support (Healing Mists upgraded to Revival). In addition to that, everyone has some sort of grenade in the full combat gear.

Not that I take care to really stock up, unless I plan on facing a dragon, so they mostly walk around without full kit, with just a fraction required for regular skirmishing.

Depends where in the UK. York is nice it's an area with some of the oldest buildings still standing in the UK. Loads of history.

Well... Sadly although York is beautiful in general, the view from our apartment is more like what you describe. I can't see the Minster (cathedral) or the castle because of two ugly 60s office blocks. Probably helps keep the rent down, though...

Still haven't gotten the marriage option and at this point I don't think I ever will. Playing as an elf sucks, at this point I wish that they would have gated her against elf's, would have saved me a lot of aggravation. I replayed the game from Haven and got into the romance much sooner but now I'm at Mythal again and doubt that I will have a chance to get the option. I feel like I've spent over 50 hours trying to correct this one thing with no results. I should have abandoned this game along time ago but I'm too damn stubborn.

I've never been this frustrated with a BioWare game included the Mass Effect ending.

Last night my anger came out replying to a post somewhere else, the post hurt me so bad that I cried myself to sleep last night and it made me realize that I'm just not enjoying myself. So I think that I'm going to take a break from the game and the boards for awhile. I'll miss everyone here.

Oh no! I hope you come back refreshed and can have some fun with a different character, because I am adoring this game.

She stonewalls or deflects any attempts to prod her about her past or her thoughts beyond the "haha, funny and random" part (a defence mechanism if i've ever seen one). The few nuggets we get from her require the trust to be built very far allready and even then i have a few doubts the truthfullness of some of the things se says. She's built walls so high around her innermost self that in the physical world it would be a contender for one of the great wonders. Why she's done this, we don't know. Something about her past terrifies her obviously but that's it. Person like this is not going to open up even to a loved one without a long build-up of trust. It could take years and even then only on their initative. Challenging her directly would only make her clamp up tighter and/or lash out.   So, as frustrating as it is, Sera requires love, patience and time by the truckload and there are no shortcuts. Just like it is with real people sometimes *shurgs*

Your analysis of Sera's character is very interesting. One thing that stands out after her speeches about the little people is...

In her personal quest how she casually brushes aside the little people who got killed by the nobleman we meet there. It could be she really doesn't care, or she's so hurt that she tries her damndest not to think about it. Her beating the guy to death so viciously would seem to indicate the latter. Although it's hard to tell.

 

It's a shame we learn so little about her over her romance arc. Although there is one thing she says after her personal quest (romanced or not) that makes my ear twitch with curiosity.

"I'm not used to this... acceptance thing you're doing." Rejection issues, perhaps? Rejection because she's an Elf? She mentions that incident with the baker, but she was raised as a daughter by a noblewoman. What did other nobles say? What about their children? Or maybe she was kept hidden? She never talks about that. Did What stuck was that her foster mom lied to her. The worst memories are often the clearest.

Or... just have Cole show up and tell us exactly what it is immediately, like he does with everyone else hurting deeply. Why he hasn't done this already, I have no idea.

Be careful: 20 doesn't get you all the perks. All the perks related to riding are so increadibly useless it's not even funny.

I have to say, I spent a little time riding my Hart and then... Basically I don't see the point of riding at all.
