Dragon Armour? What? I'm assuming it's the pre-order DLC items. It said when I was crafting that they could only be used by my Inquisitor.
It's the DLC piece you get with the special edition.
Outdated by level 7.

The armour that was used in all of the trailers, how do I get that? Is it even in the game?
I tried Sera with my first quizzy and now I'm with Josie. Not much happening so far, but I haven't done Wicked Eyes yet.
My next one will be a rugged fellow for Cassandra.
And Sera and Cassandra dressed in dragon armor is pretty sweet. All white and gold.

Yeah, it's probably the Armor of the Dragon.
You should see my endgame variation of it. 257 Armor Rating. And it's the Medium version. I shudder imagining how high the rating must go for the Heavy version.
White, with silver scales... Awesome.
(Made of Dragon Scales and Silverite. Silverite wasn't the best choice I had for that slot, but... SILVERITE! If you do not understand why I stuck it there regardless, you know NOTHING of the Blood Dragon armor!)
The armour that was used in all of the trailers, how do I get that? Is it even in the game?
Yes.
It's called Sturdy Battlemaster Armor. You find the schematic with a merchant in the Hissing Wastes, and it costs 8,183 without Josie's discount perks. To get the iconic helmet, you have to kill the dragon in the Emerald Graves (it's apparently a 100% drop-rate).
Here is proof (not my pic):

I'm trying to build it now and I'm almost there. It's probably the best armor in the game which is why it's such a pain to find and complete.
You could literally play through the whole thing without ever coming across it.

I want it! I need it!

Outdated by lvl7, but you can get the Ultra Awesome version. As I said, I wore it the entire game. And it's actually THE best armor in the game, if crafted properly.

If you have the DLC, it's in a chest the moment you wake up post-prologue.
When you get to Skyhold, there's a similar chest in the Undercroft, not giving you another armor, but rather all the blueprints for Flames of the Inquisition stuff.
As said. I crafted my end-game equipment (well, for my Quizzy) from DLC stuff entirely.
Tool of the Game and The Bard's Letter Opener (called those names MONTHS before release, along with The Bardmaster's Recurve) were two IDENTICAL Superb Daggers of the Dragon, made of... Stormheart?, Bloodstone and something else. Both over 300DPS without their Runes, which boosted them to like 350DPS and 330DPS, respectively.
The armor was a Superb Medium Armor of the Dragon, made out of Dragon Scales and Silverite, and some blue cloth, can't recall which. 257 Armor Rating, or something. About 70 more than Cassie had, as my tank.

I never got it, even though I have the Deluxe edition, I have the hardback guide, and I played that trailer game for the corrupted red lyrium weapons. Are you sure it's the armour from the trailers?
Armor ratings. Now.
Up to 300+.

The Deluxe Edition armor is not the armor from the trailers. It looks completely different (unless Serza is talking about something else?).
Armor from the trailers, no. Armor from the DLC, yes.
What Phoenix posted is likely a non-DLC armor.

What DLC? Was it pre-order DLC or have they released some packs or something I wasn't aware about.
And it's Warrior armor, right?
The trailers only used the Warrior version, but there's a mage variation.
Also, if you craft it using Silverite, you remove the class restriction altogether.

I need SILVERITE!
I'm actually really excited to complete the armor set soon.
I really thought it would be easier to find since it was used in pretty much everything pre-release.
I need SILVERITE!
Emprise Du Lion is your friend then.
Emprise Du Lion is your friend then.
Not yet high enough level to survive there. It would be like walking into a slaughter house, and I'm not going in too purchase poultry.

Flames of the Inquisition?
The Armor pack should be included in every pre-order. Weapons only for Deluxe. Luckily, my retailed had a bonus on top of the mug, I got both the weapons and the armor.

Yup. Sadly, Superb Heavy Armor of the Dragon goes up to 250 Rating only - not Masterworked, though. And that was Dragon Bone, too.
Anyway, crafting Serza's Rogue Armor for beginners:
Base material is Dragon Scales. Gives the armor a nice white look.
For Leather, we use Wyvern scales. Dragon Scales are a much better choice, but they're far more scarce. I might remake the armor with them.
For Cloth, I used the Dales Loden Wool, for some Magic protection. As an Elf, I already had a 25% Ranged defence, and melee... Why melee defence.
For Metal, I used Silverite. As I said, there's probably a better choice for a Rogue, but SILVERITE. Plus, this gives chance to stagger whoever hits you in melee. Should they get a hit in.
Finally, we apply the Dragon's Tooth Masterwork, to give those stats a nice boost. Dragon's Tooth has the highest chance of scoring the masterwork. Iron Bark is easy, quick, and cheap acquirement, but it gives only a 10% chance. We're talking late-game, and the main material is Dragon Scales. If you have enough Dragon Scales for this armor, but not a single Dragon's Tooth, something went horribly wrong in your crafting resources.
Ugh. I think I might give up on DAMP entirely.
I can't find a game.
Or rather, I always LOSE CONNECTION, before I even enter loading.

I actually got the Inquisitor's Helmet from fighting the Dragon in Crestwood.
Can't wear it though, playing as a Qunari and all that.

Same problem with me.
I just got in a lobby.
Now it won't load.

Doesn't Essence of Perfection give 100% chance of masterwork?
I wouldn't know. Never got it.
