Your eyes are better than mine, lad. I am short sighted and have no glasses after all.

Edit: Or at least, their models don't look as detailed as other important NPCs.
You're not alone.
I did notice the same thing in the Xbox One version. I thought it was weird.
I mean... Compair Alistair and Anora to Cullen and Josie. So much more detail in the latter pair. I know they're in the game several orders of magnitude more often, but you know... King and Queen of Ferelden... They should look a bit more regal, no?

To be fair compared to
Also just a cameo that lasted for what? Less than a minute?
@Uncle: That's also a vast difference in lighting.
Alistair and Cullen must be attending the same salon.
Yeah, it's pretty odd how certain character models are significantly more detailed than others. It was one of the first things I noticed about the graphics.
@Knight of Dane: That sounds interesting.
And I just gonna go out of a limb and assume that it's a female Inquisitor and Sera jumping through the beds, or else you wouldn't have announced it here?
That's what I'm debating myself. I have so many world states that I like but am unsure what Inquisition pt that will be my background yet.
But it's likely since my Dalish Quizzy is the most diplomatic Inquisitor I've played through yet. My Dwarf was more of a army guy. Doesn't really sit well with Gaspard on the Orlesian throne tho.

Eh you don't want to ask me that one, because I'm obviously biased ![]()

Well true, but I was looking at the detail in the costumes, not the shadows...
Nah, it's not really the place to start a long discussion about it anyway. I was just interested in what people thought about the name.
Inquisition and Reconquista is somewhat related.

Then I'm putting it down to being a very small cameo.
Also I can't believe they used Alistair's comic outfit there.

Yeah I appreciate that it's a small cameo, but you know... Beloved character and all that... Anyway... On topic, Sera is nicely detailed. ![]()

Spoiler
Not to mention Anora seems to be wearing same dress and hairstyle as some background NPCs at Skyhold... ![]()
(Sorry, I know this is the Sera thread, but I'm bitter, darnit.)

Oh she sure is, but that's another scene ![]()
Also not the prettiest of the bunch, but that's ok, I like that.
@Arakat: I know a few people that would say "That fits Ferelden nobility quite right" because if we want fancy nobility Orlais is the place to go or something.
Oh, believe me, I'd slam Blackwall for this too, had I had any clue it existed. What does he say?
If you have Blackwall and Dorian in your party long enough, you get one of those banters where you can join in and comment on how they're always bickering. My character choose the middle one, that had the text "You two are so cute" (or something like that) and said "You two are such men." and Blackwall says very darkly, something to the effect of"Well, I am at least."
I was like....SO EXCITED because it was the only "join in" banter I got during the whole game....and then...what the heck, Blackwall?

Well I guess it makes sense if you
so it wasn't that surprising to me. Meh some people just can't deal with it I guess.

I'm fairly sure that has nothing to do with homosexuality. Rather because Dorian is a noble, a mage, and loves pissing Blackwall off, and Blackwall doesn't like any of that.
Also, because I'm lyrium-addled or something, I've decided to go for romancing Sera after all. Where are the sidequest areas where I can best farm approval? I know I should take her around to Here Lies the Abyss and be all pro-Warden, but what else?
Also, she's going to hate me for what I do in the Arbor Wilds, so should I be prepared for a breakup? Or are there ways to compensate for that?
I think the relationship status locks once you complete all the scenes. At least I haven't seen talk about approval breakup from any characters.
Remember to do the War table missions as well, some of them give appoval. Judge your prisoners harshly or in a spiteful way.

I think that was more a dig at Dorian's effete manners than his sexual preference.

Blackwall acts like a nice enough guy when in actual fact, he is to a total c***.

Thing is though, it's easily mistakable. BioWare should have picked up on that. Sure, it's his character, and he has a right to voice his opinion but still, that is just outright offensive.

Well, shoot. I don't really like doing that to prisoners...
Any sidequests in places like the Exalted Plains or Fallow Mire?

Haven't reached the Plains yet, but the Fallow Mire has several side quests that you can tackle with no issues as early as level 8-10.

Which ones give Sera approval?
I know why it's justified in game and I love Dorian-Blackwall's relationship, but it does, along with other digs they make at eachother, have obvious straight man talking to gay men icky things.
It didn't make me RAGING MAD, but my point was less that it was awful and more that if Sera had said it, she'd be torn apart.
I doubt it, unless she said it to a transwoman; she herself is lesbian, so there's no homophobic angle.
