Oh, you know she'd hear all sorts of juicy gossip.  While I think her and Cassandra might not get along at first, I could see to two of them warming up to each other.  Vivienne and Sera are going to fight like two wet starving cats in a bag, and I don't think that'll change at all in the course of the game.

 

 

Agree with all this.  I think Vivienne will be especially upset if Sera and the Inquisitor start a relationship.  The Inquisitor will become a very powerful person at some point and Vivienne might worry that Sera is using her to influence the direction of the Inquisition and Vivienne will be at odds with this direction.  Sera being a member of the FoRJ wouldn't help with that perception.

 

It's kind of similar to how some have viewed the Briala/Celene situation and feared Briala was using Celene to improve elven rights in Orlais.  Vivienne was/is close to Celene, however, I'm not sure she knows all the details of what happened between the two.  Regardless, Vivienne will be very wary of the relationship.

Nothing personal, but could you please drop it?  Most of the posters (including myself) agreed it was in bad taste, but I promise that there isn't any of the "ha ha you straights miss out" going on in the thread, other than some light hearted jokes.  Most of us agreed also that too many are getting hung up on her sexuality.

 

So, with that said, any thoughts about the Friends of Red Jenny and the theory that they might be a part of the elven underground, hence tying them to the rest of the novels as well as to the games?  Or that she could be the new Red Jenny?

The bottleneck for creating characters is less writing, and more cin design.

 

DA2 had 2 player models and 4 love interests, meaning custom cinematic scenes (required if you have intimate touching) required 8 scenes (assuming you only need one).

 

DAI has 8 player models.  If we have at least 4 love interests (I suspect our minimum), that takes 32 scenes (assuming we only need one).

 

Alternatively, if we were to have no bisexual characters, we could use 4 (one gender, 4 races) per pairing, and we could have 8 love interests in the game with not tooooooo much extra work required by cinematics (writing would need more, but if it is determined that they have the capacity and cin design does not, then it's not a net drain on the overall timeline).

 

 

Now lets say we have those 8 love interests, and we mandate that in order to be fair they must be bisexual.  Now we have 64 scenes to make.  Lets assume a scene takes a cindesigner one day to make.  We just added a full man month of work to the cindesigners.  John Epler would be very, very sad

Boob armour in general is a baad idea and a pet hate of mine. Although we can't forget that she is an elf, her anatomy is not the same as the human one we are used to.

You know, it's times like this that I really wish I had any sort of artistic talent. So many ideas for funny Sera and party member pictures, none of the ability to make them happen. Apparently I was specced fully into the "writer" skill tree and put no points in "hand eye coordination" and "artistic talent."

I feel your pain. Having a big imagination but little drawing talent sucks. It's why I need to capture meet a nice guy who's artistic, so he can be my artistic minion.
