Turn into as in become? Or do you mean walk into? In any case, it won't matter. I'll have plenty of time to get rid of the smell because the shards are my next goal. Oh bother.
I just got the 'People Person' achievement for befriending 3 of my companions. My friends are Sera, Dorian and Cassandra (in that order). It could be because I'm always walking around with them.
It's neat that we get a cutscene where they acknowledge us as their friends.
I got card changes for Sera, Dorian and Iron Bull. I need to work on some of the others too. Oh, and I'm going after those last two dragons tonight.
I haven't looked at my achievements but when I was doing Sera's present quest, Cass greeted me as a friend. It gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Well, you get the achievement for befriending three of them in a single playthrough. Solas hates my guts. Probably because I hardly ever speak to him. Dorian is a sweetheart too. Sera is best approached as a non elf. I haven't tried a two warrior party so far. Maybe I could switch Sera out for Iron Bull. I have barely used him.
Poor Cole though. I kinda wish Sera would give him some chance.... then again, it's hard to overcome your fears.

I didn't think I was going to like Cole, but he won me over, so I feel for him...but there's a strong possibility that Sera spent at least some time in Ferelden Horror Story: MURDER ORPHANAGE, when she was in the Denerim Alienage, so if that's where her fear of demons comes from, can you blame her?

In fact, the fact that Cole is talking about things like Sera's bow and the way her name sounds makes me reasonably confident that Sera has no secret hidden pain at all.

Solas I think is probably friends with me, as all you have to do is ask him about his adventures to farm "Slightly Approves" and he's given me the talk about he may have misjudged the Dalish and I am wise. Also I did his personal quest and got a "Greatly Approves" even though I did counter that with a "Disapproves" for stopping him from acting like an arse immediately afterwards, and another for being in a relationship with Sera. I shall check this evening when I get home to see if I have it. The Origin website won't tell me (another way in which it's inferior to Steam.)

I don't have the People Person cheevo yet, but according to the tracker I'm 2/3 done with it. My 'friends' so far are Dorian and, I suspect, Blackwall.

I thought you have to "call" Cole somewhat in order for him to hear? He does admit that doesn't invade people's minds if they don't want, or call him. Maybe Sera hides her pain very deep?

She just told me she was from Denerim and that she left because it got horrible because of the blight.

I can't recall his exact words, but he was upset that I would be in a relationship with someone so far from what he considers to be a true elf. You might not get the "disapproves" if you're not an elf yourself. I don't know.

Sera does have some negative comments about the people in the Alienage (and the tree ofc xd).

Well, Tressa is very interested in learning about and understanding different perspectives, which is why she manages to get on with both Sera and Solas!
Edit: Also, I understand that there are some dramatic Elf-based moments coming up that I've not yet experienced, so I'm prepared for that all to change...
