I found the best fan art.

That gave me a laugh. Thank you. ![]()
Old and almost got the thread closed down.
Old news mate stop trying to stir up a hornets nest.
So who here thinks Sera will be their go to lockpicker if they aren't playing a rogue themselves? I do. I love varric but he never really struck me as the 'sneaky' kind of rogue. More like the good connections and backroom dreals and swashbuckling on occasion kind.
I won't find much use for her in my first game because my go to is a bow using rogue. Had the same problem with Varric in DA2 , although he was fun to have around he was dead weight. DA2 was not good enough to replay , I only finished it through force of will and never enjoyed the last chapter in the slightest. As long as DA:I is on par with DA:O , then I'll get a lot of use out of her.
Considering those are DA2 concepts, I doubt it. Even her earliest concept art showed no signs of it.. but maybe.
They actually started as concepts for a game titled "Dragon Age: Inquisition" that originally started before DA2 (Dragon Age: Exodus) started up.
It's part of the rather fluid nature of how games are created, I have learned.

It depends on whether bringing Varric with us opens up extra dialogue options again. I would prefer that sort of thing be dependent on the Inquisitor's cunning, instead, but we'll see. I'd really like to find out more about the Friends of Red Jenny, so I'm definitely going to try to take Sera with me as much as possible on my first playthrough.
And if Mopey Blond Rogue Who Is Most Likely Cole is interesting, I may end up having another all rogue party eventually. Those can be fun.
If we can have a snarky personality like Hawke, Sera and I are going to have a lot of fun.
God yes, hopefully we can make a sassyQuizzy... ![]()

Dragon Age: Exodus sounds so much better than Dragon Age 2!

And instead of Hawke, the protagonist's last name would have been Moses ![]()
"a mass departure" I was thinking more this kind of Exodus
.

Assuming lockpicking is not a talent like DA:O but depends entirely on cunning again then I'm simply not going to have just one lockpicker. DA2 was easy enough to have 40 cunning on all rogues and have full crit chance investment in dexterity anyway.
Regardless, I always trained all rogues in DA:O and A into lockpicking anyway.
I'm playing as a mage first playthrough so she'll likely be my main rogue. I want to romance her and have her in the party, but on the other hand I'd also love to play with Varric. Mage + 2 ranged rogues I no liek.

Sure and I'm playing a mage first.
I think.
Mage + 2 ranged rogues I no liek.
Why don't you like that set-up? Kill things before they even get close XD

Needs to happen!
I don't want goody-goody/evil to be my only options. I want my Inquisitor to be snarky, wisecracking and unpredictable. Fingers crossed ![]()
I think Bioware should do something to acknowledge the height difference between her and a female qunari inquisitor if the romances aren't race restricted, by Sera pulling out a step ladder or something similar to equal the height difference between the two during the kissing scene.

I worry that something like that would take away from the spontaneity of the scene though -"BRB, finding ladder-" just doesnt have that romantic ring ![]()
Better if FemQunari knelt down/swept her up in my opinion

If I'm not mistaken, it was confirmed that we have sarcastic/snark dialogue options again ![]()

I heard the same.

I meant having the height equalling item already conveniently placed or have the FemQunari have dialogue option" "should I sweep you off your feet or would you like me to find you a box" or something similar.
I doubt it'll go as far as the DA2 version though, sarcastic Hawke was awesome but came across as a total sociopath sometimes.
Well that's what happens when you ALWAYS go for the same "color" option in conversations. They allow you to be whatever you wanna be, but sometimes it would be inappropriate.
If done excessively:
100% Diplomatic can come across as a apologetic supplicant.
100% Sarcastic can come across as a sociopath.
100% Aggressive can come across as a psychopath.
You gotta switch them around. I thought Sarcastic Hawke was glorious but I wouldn't joke with the Viscount while he's grieving for example.
