Maybe your approval was to low or maybe you didn't select the romance option on the dialogue wheel often enough. Can't say for sure. Keep trying though. For all her faults Sera's romance is quite cute, especially when you ask if you can marry her. That was the highlight for sure.

Lol you're struggling to get in a relationship with her whereas my Dalish elf and her were fighting and making up constantly, lol the drama, made me tired. Felt too real at times. Was half expecting her to dump me at times, but it worked in it's own strange way.
I agree. I think it was also about the necessity of faith experienced in the face of doubt. Not that you need to believe in a specific god, but people need something to believe in and let it be intangible, or they become like Corypheus.i see DAI as about faith/doubt(most of my views on the series has changed greatly) so it hard for me to be "elfy" lol

I favoured Cass' idea, let the mages govern themselves in the towers and use the templars as a sort of protection service. Hmm I think that's the short of what she had in mind. Or maybe I need to listen back to what she said again.

Now given all the reveals at the end of the game, it makes sense to reevaluate on a meta level what the various religions mean, especially Dalish. But for a character, I still think it's the most interesting perspective. Especially if you romance Solas, lmfao.
