what happens in DAI changes lots of peopleDid you really have a logical epiphany about Elven culture? I'm genuinely shocked, really.

What I found the most funny was how people were complaining so much about the discussion you have with Sera after the Mythal thing, that she was being so unreasonable and forcing you to lie to her to keep the relationship open, but the hilarious thing was I actually agreed with her.

Well, I do still think that that's grossly unreasonable. "Deconvert or we break up" is... rather extreme, and not based on anything logical.

I didn't have any epiphanies about the Dalish after the game. I still love them and find them fascinating and I still think the narratives have done a disservice to them.
But I also think Sera and Solas have some excellent points, I just wish they were balanced out more.

Partially yeah, I just found it funny how it was such an issue for everyone and after playing it I ended up agreeing with her in the context of the game, lol.

In real life, I would consider that uncommon. Not necessarily Convert but still, religion can be a factor in many break ups.

I understand this. I had a similar thing with Blackwall.

Well, to be fair most of the Dalish Gods seem to be no better than the most callous Tevinter Mages. They did own slaves after all.
So, maybe she has a point.

This.
And a serious factor, sadly.

I'm so tired. Time for another night of painful sleep. My bed is f***ed. The wooden bars that hold the mattress up have caved in under my weight, so the mattress now dips in right in the centre of the bed.
Thing is... I only weight 11 stone.

A friend of mine reminded me how people seem to forgive Dorian for justifying slavery or how they don't mind Iron Bull justifying the removal of free-will.

Put your mattress on the floor and sleep there until you can get a new bed. Seriously. It's not worth giving yourself back problems.

Because, at the end of the day, they are males. When a female tries to justify something, it's consider wrong (trying to think off a better, more accurate word). When a male does it, it becomes something to ponder upon.

But where do I put all the crap I've stockpiled under my bed?

Nah I've seen plenty of people hate that about Dorian, they just blame Gaider, not the character. Because they want to like him, I guess. Also what LP said.
...I also think Dorian has a point about Thedas. The level of poverty people face is not much better. It's better, but for Quizzie (a human or dwarf one especially I think) to get all self righteous about it is a bit hypocritical.

I think more because Dorian is sarcastic and fabulous and Iron Bull because... #ridethebull.

I came so close to calling it off with her in that scene, like that was alot of information to swallow for a proud Dalish, man I saw red when she laughed about it all. Didn't see the humour in it, mad me sad.

ooooor.......maybe the priests gave themselves willingly? Or just maybe servitude to an actual, very much present god wasn't viewed as much of a sacrifice or slavery?
Just a little counterpoint....
