Thinking about it, if you like Bioware games for the deep lore, flawed but relatable characters and interweaving politics, you have to love B5, no?
Never watched it.

B5 is pretty much the spiritual ancestor of Mass Effect, tis true.

Does that mean I should watch it.
its a mabari the beasts are smart
Why didn't you say that?
Now I have no doubts about the dog.
It's just a proud Mabari that had enough of being a warhound and became a merchant!
Do tell, is he in the canyon FULL OF SPIDERS?
yup thats the placeWhy didn't you say that?

technically that dog is just there to guard the shop, and make sure you pay.... the owner has 'stepped out' as it were. I think the person is dead...
yup thats the place
Right inside that damn thing?
There are spiders SPAWNING IN FRONT OF MY EYES in there.
B5 was ahead of its time in so many ways. A planned five season space opera story from before story arcs were a thing in TV. It's my favourite sci-fi show ever.

Found him. Applied some cunning to my movement (and a little dropping down) and dropped right next to him...
So much stuff for blank runestones... *sigh*

Depends, it does take a bit of a while to get into, but you'll find yourself getting wrapped up in the storylines. There's a nice mix of action, drama and politics that are very similar to how ME handled it in the games the show has a great ensemble cast.
They do replace Sinclair with Sheridan at the start of Series 2 as the main character and leader of B5, but it doesn't really change the show itself that much and while some people have a Kirk vs Picard debate about the two, with Sinclair typically losing, I actually found him to be a great character. And to be honest, using the Trek comparison to discuss them really should be that Sinclair = Picard and Sheridan = Sisko, since while the former will talk you to death with their smarts, the latter will beat your ass with their cunning.
(And apologies for going off topic, I have Sera's voice in my head calling me a nerd)
Does that mean I should watch it.
Yes. Loads of thematic similarities with ME such as humanity being the new kid on the block dumped into the politics of established spacefaring civilisations, ancient highly advanced races that have gone before and are still around meddling and great personal stories. Also there is a similarity with DA in terms of the mages there and telepaths in B5.
Seasons three and four in particular are just epic, but as Sifr says you may need a while to get caught up in it.

I'll have to give it a watch then.

My only caveat is make sure you get through season one. Some find it a bit slow going but it's setting up the awesomeness to come.

It's not about scary, it's about comitting when there's a small chance of actual success... with the enemy having infinitely more personnel.
Anyway, the dog was selling the medium armor variation of the Keeper's Robe - or the schematic - the Dalish Scout Armor.
It's essentially what Merrill uses unless Romanced, and what most of the Dalish have in Inquisition.
Just... Arianne, a Dalish Hunter, is apparently not Elf-trained. I need an explanation there, I think...
Is it worth buying? I'm tempted to use my Uni laptop (given to me by Uni, have to give it back when I finish the year) but I don't really want to pirate anything. Apparently, someone was caught watching pirated movies a couple years ago and was kicked off the course. I don't want that to happen to me.

Because Elves failed in creating garb they can actually wear comfortably? They go barefoot across everything; marshes, gravel, volcanic ash. How!?

By being outside of the Shemlen's understanding, I guess. It's still a bummer, being unable to wear armor your character probably used before the game's events.

Glitches suck. What also sucks Is finding about Barkspawns' shop of wonders long after I've finished the game :/ Oh well, at least my Enna will wear proper Dalish garb in the dlcs >.< Speaking of crafting....Is the stupid handguard thingy for bows that's shown in the Sera promo being sold somewhere or just random drop? The bow is stupid but it's iconic for Sera and I must have it for her! >.<
Edit: And the medium Dalish armor at least is resitance gear with masterwork slot. Takes a ton of leathers but my version has 30% resistance on fire, cold and electricity now. Breathe fire? Come at me brah!
I think you can buy that bow guard in Val Royaux. There is a schematic shop in the upstairs section. It's tier 2 though.
I found a really sweet knight-captain bow schematic in a 'secret' area. Took some glitch exploitation though. (chest contents renew if you leave at least one item in them. That area yields tier 3 schematics a lot)
I finally finished the shard collection quest. The reward was a little... underwhelming. Tier 4 schematics DLC please!
I can't really use Thousand Cuts effectively...
Any tips and tricks for it?
I just gone against my instinctive revulsion to the idea and re-specced Bull to sword&board because I want to hear team YOLO banter...
