Can anyone tell me which tree (besides Archery) fits Sera best in terms of gameplay and effectiveness?

I have to admit, her 'Tempest' specialization tree is... less than impressive, and I already have Cole for the DW thing. I would like to respec her abilities and make her excel at something other than the bow and arrow but I really don't know where to start.

She's a lvl 20 in my playthrough.

He dies on your team all the time too?

A bit, but mostly I just don't like to take two warriors out, and a sword&board is pretty much essential.

Glitches suck. What also sucks Is finding about Barkspawns' shop of wonders long after I've finished the game :/ Oh well, at least my Enna will wear proper Dalish garb in the dlcs >.< Speaking of crafting....Is the stupid handguard thingy for bows that's shown in the Sera promo being sold somewhere or just random drop? The bow is stupid but it's iconic for Sera and I must have it for her! >.<

Edit: And the medium Dalish armor at least is resitance gear with masterwork slot. Takes a ton of leathers but my version has 30% resistance on fire, cold and electricity now. Breathe fire? Come at me brah! :P

Barkspawn's shop? That'll stick!

The thing about the armors is, I still have one area to go, so I COULD wear the Dalish armor for that one area. Alas, bug - I'll keep wearing Armor of the Fortress and Helm of the Inquisitor.

I actually hoped for a "NPC Armors Unlocked" DLC in the future, and then I realized we don't need one such because the NPC armors are already in the game, pretty much all of them. #IPlayBioWare. Seriously.

Use upgraded Flask of Fire first. I'm pretty sure it's a bug but it removes the Focus cost on Thousand Cuts so you can use it every 32 seconds.

Thanks a bunch!

Iron Bull and Sword'n'Boardin' is heresy.

But Uncle shall be forgiven!

This whole Barkspawns shop thing. If you don't choose to get Dog in DA:Keep, does he show up at this shop? That would be sick if it actually is The Warden's Dog.

Tempest is awesome!

You have:

1) A thing that'll let you spam the hell out of your abilities (Flask of Fire - I combine it with Deathblow for 10k+ DMG rampages)

2) A thing that'll let you flank the enemy and stab/shoot the ever lasting HELL out of them while they can't do a DAMN in return (Flask of Lightning)

3) A thing that'll give you 85% DMG resistance AND freeze anyone who hits you - if upgraded, it also taunts all nearby foes (Combine with Stealth for Aggro Management Level Over 9000)

On top, you have a passive that gives you a 15% DMG bonus whenever an elixir is active (Killer's Alchemy)

The recipe for awesome MAYHEM.

Think it could ACTUALLY be Barkspawn? :D

It's probably not, but we have to name the only Mabari that isn't Random Enemy #34681, right?

Would give a reason to why he shows up in Keep.

Well, feel free to do some research on your second PT :D

That would mean the Warden passed through there... And is now using an alias, while making some extra money on the side to aid in their journey.

I personally prefer Sabotage mostly for Cheap Shot and Looked Like It Hurt.

Really though, the Tempest tree is all you need.

Also if you can find some Fade Touched Velveteen, put in some armour for her and she'll do most of your party's damage.

Tempest is a great specialisation. Serza already pointed out why, but if you combine her with a respecced archer Cole, you have the best potential DPS out of all other potential team setups. Stick Vivienne/Tankquisitor or Blackwall/KEquisitor in there and you have an unstoppable force.

You know what! I'm done with this Nightmare play through! I'm gonna complete this game, revert back to a previous save and do the rest on casual! This s*** is pissing me off!

Mind telling what the Velveteen does, exactly?

The Fade-Touched Velveteen I have makes abilities cost less mana/stamina.

The first part of the Prologue was the hardest for me, considering I was playing as a squishy mage and Cassandra kept ignoring all of the enemies attacking me and instead drawing the aggro of a wraith I could've picked off at a distance. :(

I've not completed it on Nightmare yet, though. About halfway through.

Anyone listened to the banter between Sera and Cole? It's pretty good! Poor Sera can't get the last word with anyone.

Do you even Barrier?

Well, it looks like I'm doing Tempest wrong then...

Do you guys usually control her or just assign her abilities and let her do her magic? I don't usually switch between party members during fights (outside of assigning commands), but if I have to I will.

This was before I could access the Character Record, so my Inquisitor only had chain lightning and inferno. As soon as I could, I doubled barrier up with Solas, though, and it was fine from there.

I hadn't fought any dragons during Neriya's playthrough. Killed the Crestwood one with Sera, Dorian, and Cassie. There's literally been no better tank than Cassie for me across two playthroughs and I didn't even need her to be great during Trevelyan's.

It's amazing how Neriya started off not wanting anything to do with Cassie or that hole in the sky and now they're best buds.

I intended to do a completionist play through on Nightmare, but it's pushing me over the line now. I'm just going to do all the stuff related to main quest and get out of this God forsaken difficulty mode.

Cassandra, I feel, is the best Warrior on the team. Even my Inquisitor sucks compared to her.

Gods above, I'd rather headplant into wet concrete. Imagine how many battles I'd have to do looking for all those damn shards.

She is, indeed. Gurl is pure tank.
