Mind telling what the Velveteen does, exactly?
I was wrong. It was Fade Touched Plush Fustian Velvet I stumbled across which has a 10% chance of activating Hidden Blades on hit.

According to the official guide, there is a second version of the Fade-Touched Velveteen that does that.
Keep in mind that much of the fade-touched material often comes in more than one form, sharing the same name but having different effects/benefits.
I hadn't fought any dragons during Neriya's playthrough. Killed the Crestwood one with Sera, Dorian, and Cassie. There's literally been no better tank than Cassie for me across two playthroughs and I didn't even need her to be great during Trevelyan's.
It's amazing how Neriya started off not wanting anything to do with Cassie or that hole in the sky and now they're best buds.
I love having Dorian in my team for the banter, but his AI is pretty messed up for some reason. I have to micromanage him moreso than any other party member and it makes it frustrating to play on anything higher than normal.
Gods above, I'd rather headplant into wet concrete. Imagine how many battles I'd have to do looking for all those damn shards.
I've completed The Hinterlands, Storm Coast, Fallow Mire, Crestwood, Exalted Plains, Emerald Graves and Western Approach (except the dragons in all of those locations but Hinterlands and Crestwood) all done on Nightmare. Just now, I want to complete this game!

Then you're a better wo/man than I, my friend. I'm just aiming for the main quests, since I don't have the motivation to complete it all on Nightmare, especially since I dislike the combat so much. Origins felt more rewarding, 'cause of the Tactics menu requiring less babysitting.

It's man. And yes, starting this game, I felt very ambitious.

Wasn't sure, so I added both just in case. And me too, surprisingly! Exploring in this game felt genuinely exciting, and I think Sera's disapproval of ruins almost led to us breaking up at one point because I was being too "elf-y".
That she is. I mean Iron Bull dies too much as does Blackwall. I hardly use either of them.
Spoiler
You do that?

I am aiming for the main quest for my Nightmare run as well but I don't know how that feasible that would be, especially when Act 3 recommends that you be lvl 17-20 or something.
The main quest alone isn't enough to achieve that level.

I mostly just played as a rogue and gave them the stealth option to run past most enemies and seal rifts etc. to get easy levels.

Spoiler
Iron Bull also dies way too easy for me, no matter how well-equipped he is.
He does hit really hard, though.
This was before I could access the Character Record, so my Inquisitor only had chain lightning and inferno. As soon as I could, I doubled barrier up with Solas, though, and it was fine from there.
Wait. They don't give you Barrier right off the bat? I feel like an idiot now.
I mean, I did take on a Venatori Gladiator and a Zealot today with a Keeper, solo... But, uh... Keeper. That girl is the might of the Dalish!
I was wrong. It was Fade Touched Plush Fustian Velvet I stumbled across which has a 10% chance of activating Hidden Blades on hit.
Yeah. With five extra hits?
There's two different ones that do that, one has 4 the other 5. I think the Velvet one is with five.

Blackwall is a WALL. Nothing gets past the man. If he never... well, you know... he'd still be my No.1 Tank. Alas, he is what he is, and isn't what he isn't, so he's on the bench.
And YES, the box were remains. Josephine even mentions something along the lines of "excuse the odor"...

That's double speak right there...

Of the Warrior companions, Cassandra is probably the best tank. You don't need any other Warriors as long as you give her enough guard and armor.
Wait. They don't give you Barrier right off the bat? I feel like an idiot now.
Yeah, they don't. I guess they assumed that Cassandra would draw all the aggro, but she's very bad at that.
agreedCassie starts off protective of you. That never stops throughout the game. That ingrained Seeker/Right hand/dragon hunter blood makeup runs deep. This is also why I made a Trevelyan...there's something particularly hot about all of that combined.
it's the same with Sera too. I told you all before the game came out I was looking forward to the leaping shot or as I called them back flips lol. I occasionally get distracted by it during combat still(though I have yet to romance her). It's not even as sexual as I thought it'd be...I'm impressed with dat agility.
In your opinion, who's best in the mage class: Viv, Dorian or Solas?
In your opinion, who's best in the mage class: Viv, Dorian or Solas?
Vivienne. Hands down, she owns all with a glare. She doesn't even need magic to make you s*** your pants.
The KE skill doe...
None of them are bad, IMO. I personally use Dorian the most because I like him better, but we all know the KE is OP as hell so Viv takes the cake here.
agreed wholeheartedly. She acts exactly like my ex XD and everytime i see her intro quest i literally feel like " ahh **** im screwed must be a gent"Vivienne. Hands down, she owns all with a glare. She doesn't even need magic to make you s*** your pants.
