Really I think she'll get along with all races, just look at her banter with IB. SUre it was just one but it sounded really playful and friendly, and that's to a qunari who are them ost hated race by non-qunari.

Well it's rather common for city elves to dislike humans. I'm not saying it's true but perhaps she's just turned off by them.
I'm hoping it's not the case. After all, my female inquisitor will likely be a human and I'd like to romance Sera with her.
Idk, if she truly disliked humans then why would she join a human Inquisitor? I would like it if she was more reluctant with a human than other races but other than that I see no good reason to restrict her from them.

Aren't the elven inquisitors also dalish? She could have issues with them too since alot of city elves don't get along with the dalish.

Well most of them will leave you if they get to disliking you enough so if she truly disliked you I don't see how not joining due to dislike of humans is any different. Plus we already know she's anti "greater good". She would just fight the demons in some other way.

Honestly though, Luke has been instrumental in his writing so far, IMO. I don't expect Sera to be a perfect representation of anything, but I think she'll be fine. Like, better-than-Traynor fine.

What did most LGBT people think of the Briala/Celene romance? I know Masked Empire was written by Weekes. But if people liked it, then I have faith Luke will deliver as well. (That probably makes no sense, but I'm trying to be positive here

I'm not of the LGBT community, but what I liked about the Celene/Briala "romance" was that it wasn't based on them being two women, but being two people close to one another, who just built an attraction with time.

I'd say that's bull. Lesbians aren't generic meat-beings. Nor are lesbians viewpoints and experiences readily accessible to dudes.
To be sure, if a straight or bisexual woman wrote a lesbian, I'd also express reservations.

As in, I think he's been a strong part of the writing team for the past several years. I especially liked his past work in ME quite a lot, so I trust he will be handling Sera well enough.
As I said, though, I'm definitely not expecting perfection. But I'm sure Sera will be a great character overall, even as a friend (non-LI).
