yup life is about compromiseWhy change for someone who can't accept you for who you are, beliefs an all. Obviously, change is welcome if you are a pig living in a s***sty but changing your outlook on life, you hobbies, your interests, your beliefs... is not worth a relationship.

Oh
Spoiler
Completely justified though. That noble killed that person in front of her eyes.
You can save him if you want though.

Same thing happened to me. Really wasn't expecting it to end like that.
I wasn't done, Sera!
I think it happened to everyone who likes to exhaust every dialogue option, which is most people, including me. Except I found it sort of funny. Guy deserved it anyway, and I was going to let her have him - she's just so impatient!

I know I could save him, but I wanted to question him some more, her reaction wasn't healthy. Was pretty disturbing actually, like there is having a temper and well that.

for whatever reason, I never flirted with Cassie as a woman. My m!Trevelyan fell in love with her.

Things like these make me wish she wasn't available to elves tbh.
Well, not all Dalish elves have to stick to their religion throughout the game.

She warned you! Also, on a metagaming level I love that Bioware did that. There rarely interrupt that mechanic...

totally off topic but I set my mom's Kindle up 3 weeks ago. She normally only plays games but today I got a notification for a book titled "The Sleeping Prince: Royal Edition". What...what is mom doing?

No! Never go back for someone who tries to change you!
That's just it. She didn't try to change me. Her world was coming apart at the seams and poor Sera is not equipped to handle something like that. She pleaded me to tell her a lie as the person in her life that mattered most. She obviously knows the inquisitor is lying, if you ask her to explain herself first, and the look of pain and shame on her face is just heartbreaking.
I have...some experience in being with a relationship with a person whose issues were outside my control. Sadly, it's not this easy with real people

I had a crown option and picked that. That recruited the guy and Sera was annoyed at first but accepted it after she cooled down. I think the crown dialogue comes from the 'nobility knowledge' perk.
I planned my perks for this playthrough. No wasting them this time! (the herbalist/schematics/rare material perks are useless. So are any perks related to riding.)

Spoiler
I know but still.... so many complaints about Sera rejecting the elf who believes in dalish gods. :/
I really wish there was a dialogue where Sera asks if you believe in gods before starting a rs even. That got many people frustrated.

Yeah...that's one of the few companion Renegade interrupts we've seen.

Pick everything that boosts your experience gains and Deft Hands Lockpick thingumabob. Those are the absolute necessary. Riding is pointless in this game. Even the larger areas like Hissing Wastes have no need off mounts.

Completely justified complaint though, like she was being completely unreasonable and selfish forcing you to deny a part of yourself just to continue the relationship. No compromise, no middle ground, no inch of respect for your Dalish elf's beliefs. Sera has many faults, that was a glaring one IMO.

I want to see the dialogue with the religion part.
Cant' find it, i wanna know what she says in that scene.
Cause "forcing" seems too much.

After returning from the temple you speak with her again, she laughs about what happens, said it's all a bunch of nonsense and lies, laughs about what happened to the ancients. By all means Sera sh*t on my Dalish elf's beliefs, thanks. I find it hard to defend her in that scene, I lost a lot of respect for her after that. Lost alot of enthusiasm for her as a result on future playthroughs. You have a choice in that scene, agree with her saying you're right Sera everything that happened at the Temple is all hogwash, its all demons *ETERNAL FACEPALM* or you say well no these are my beliefs and I'll stand by them, ends relationship.

Yeah, it was an interesting moment for sure. You rarely take them seriously when they threaten you. Not in Sera's books.

I am sure this has been brought up, but IF Sera was in the real world, what would her romance song be. For me, outside of Qunari, I could see her using "I hate myself, for loving you" as her song.
any thoughts.
