I doubt it.
I don't see them doing much more with a character that can be easily kicked at anytime.
yeah, you're probably right.

Then why didn't she just refuse to enter a relationship entirely due to my belief in the Creators? It's not as though I made a secret of it.
Well, she falls in love with the person behind all the 'elfiness'. There's that dialog where she tells you that you're more than an 'elf' to her.
I think things would have been fine if Mythal didn't happen where she was forced to face the uncertainty of the possibility of elven gods existing. I guess you can say the elven Inquisitor's faith is now threatening whereas before it wasn't.

Well, ****.
The romance between Sera and a loyal Dalish is going to be deeply unhealthy no matter what, clearly, because you'll then need to keep lying about your faith from that point on.
Lavellan has the best behind, though it helps that she doesn't have a terrible idle pose.
Why am I so frustrated with Sera yet still finding her so desirable?
You're smitten.
I think BioWare forgot how tall the Qunariquisitor is sometimes. I counted at least three instances in actual cutscenes where the camera is focused squarely on her chest rather than her face. :S
They're supposed to have added a system for handling that. I've had half my elf's head cut off in wide shots, but that was talking to another character.
What's really annoying is when elf Inquisitor tries to fold their arm across their chest but only gets half way.
I don't see them doing much more with a character that can be easily kicked at anytime.
I really doubt they'd ignore Sera just like that. She's still part of this game as much as anyone else, no matter if she can be kicked out anytime.

Why don't you refuse to enter into a relationship entirely due to her complete disdain for Dalish culture? It's not as though she makes a secret of it.

I did. But it's Sera's issues I'm trying to analyze. My Inquisitor's issues I've already worked out.
I'll admit that it would be fun to find out more about the reason's she is why she is and to discuss it all with her. She is so scared of stuff she doesn't know... I'm doing the fade with her now and she's just crapping her pants, poor girl.

Sometimes people really like one another and want to see if things work out despite their differences. Those differences sometimes come to point though and you have to figure out if you can live and let live with divergent opinions. Often enough you can but sometimes the answer is no that's what we end up calling irreconcilable differences, since apparently that's just not a hump your relationship can get past.
It happens.

And Sera cannot live with divergent opinions, it seems.
Not with that one at the point in time, no. It's just not what she needs.

Why? Why can she not simply agree to disagree on the matter? Even put it aside if it can't be talked about now for whatever reason?
Cause the girl's got her own demons to deal with, and that one's just too much right now it seems.
They need this function on all NPC companions an option to kick them out permanently. Just not Sera which is a shame.

And she feels it's better for her to do so alone?
I do sympathize with her... but this is not at all a healthy relationship. And I don't think Sera is healthy either.
Well, ****.

It is unhealthy and bloody disappointing that there is no middle ground to reach in that scenario. Not to mention irritating, I'm not trying to convert Sera to believe what I believe bloody hell.
Sera frustrates me for the same reasons, Xil, and that's why I like her so much. She's very human. People don't actually change because of a few dialogue options you take irl...not in a predictable way, not in a rushed way. I would love to see her grow more over time, but I don't even know what direction that would take! Which is kind of exciting, tbh. She's the one I'm most interested with in DLCs, along with Solas.
I don't appreciate it, because Bioware torpedoed one of my romance options.

Solas will get one for sure, that bald elf is magnificent.

Xil, these characters aren't written to be romances that cater to everyone's specific style

Well... unfortunately, there's no way in hell I'd ever suggest Vivienne as a viable alternative, so I might be stuck. They probably should have just made Sera nonromanceable and one of the other companions female.
i actually like viv and sera regardless of their fault felt more human and real imoWell... unfortunately, there's no way in hell I'd ever suggest Vivienne as a viable alternative, so I might be stuck. They probably should have just made Sera nonromanceable and one of the other companions female.
