IDK, she has alot of issues, she's pretty troubled. I'm still pretty annoyed over all that happened with her in my first run, I will try her with a human this time but if it doesn't get any better I'm just not gonna bother in the future.

I'm of the mind that the whole approval system is broken anyway.

 

Currently I'm trying what is probably a doomed romance. I figure that the big being Dalish fight comes at such a dramatic point in the story that it could work to break it there.

For sure. Just saying that due to that, we can't know how Sera would act around a lover who was a religious dwarf or Qunari. Dalish elf is the only one who challenges her worldview in that way.

Personally I think its a shame, because dwarven religion/culture is my favorite part of the series, but I understand why it went down that way.

I'm playing mine to be as much of a criminal as possible.

I dont always look forward to christmas day itself. It means, bad weather is about to hit two weeks later for me.     

 

 

Side note, I do look forward to the family parties that is mostly before that.

 

 

 

EDIT:  Adding, I havent gotten far but still really like Sera.   Now I dont like Vivvie.... she hates me for being pro-mage. I love her responses and proper responses to something she didnt like that I did.

She also got mad at Hella for being "too elfy and you're not even an elf!!", which was the highlight of my playthrough tbh, because I headcanoned Hella was obsessed with the Dalish, and I definitely didn't expect any dialogue that would go along with it!

I can't remember any dwarf specific content with her other than that. I have been pretty ruthless with my male dwarf( executing people and letting her stab that guy etc) and she likes that a lot, haha. Haven't done her romance though, probably she has some other line there. Has no one here romanced her with a dwarf yet?

The characters I felt like got good dwarf specific dialogue exchanges were Dorian, Varric, Josephine, and Blackwall.

Josephine asked about being in the Carta and Varric picked me for a Carta member right away.
Haven't got Dorian or Blackwall yet and I'm still undecided as to my LI this time.

Since Sera always follows me for boss or dragon fights I'm leaning toward her but at the same time I'm tempted to make this dwarf ride the bull...unless Josephine and her stupid, sexy accent get in the way again.

God I love my first world problems.

For a character that can be skipped or kicked out at any time? Very unlikely.

 

But I don't think she will be 'ignored'. It's just that whatever they do with her character arc (if at all) won't be of much significance.

Well, Leliana could be skipped or kicked out at any time in Origins and she got a DLC just for her. Morrigan could be kicked out too and she got a DLC as well. You never know. Or maybe DAI will get an expansion with more dialogue for everyone? *fingers crossed*

Honestly I think they will not make any companion specific DLCs, but if they did, it would likely be centered around Solas or Dorian. Just my guess, but they seem to have the most lingering plot threads that would be the same in everyone's PT. (Vs IB/Cass/Viv, who are more dependent on your actions).

I do hope we get some good content with her in DLCs. Carver in particular had some wonderful character moments in the DA2 DLCs.
