HAVE A SERA

BY http://frednought.tumblr.com/
I think we are using different meanings of the term, something I hoped to avoid with the clarification part in the earlier post. When you said "lesbians aren't generic meat-beings" I read that as "lesbians are specific (group of) meat-beings" rather than "lesbians aren't the default". Hence my question if the same can't be said about any other group.
Lesbians are a group of meatbags that like specific meatbags, they're no more genereic than straight males.
I know it’s a difficult thing on the internet, but please try to respond to what I actually said.
Being a lesbian is meaningful. It matters. This is not a radical thought, and voicing it is not demanding that Sera become Ser Sappho Dykesalot.
Diet Coke meet laptop. That was perfect, Lady Maria.
This is a spiced caramel apple martini. A few of these and the right words, maybe the player will finally find out more.
I thought in the leaked survey they mentioned that Sera was a part of a thieves guild. It just seems so...mundane for the Friends of Red Jenny, but I could be making the group grander in my mind than they actually are.
I'm sorry, did I just see caramel, apple and alcohol in the same glass? If I could fall through my computer screen into that glass, I'd be swimming in it. Why have I not tried one of these yet???? ![]()

Ikr?I bet it tastes good too.

My new goal in life is to find somewhere that will make me one of these ![]()
I've worked my way through every version of Mojito (my favourite) that I can get my hands on, and I need a new cocktail to love ![]()
I had a Bloody Mary made with bacon vodka once. That was one of my best cocktail experiences
it was like having breakfast at 2am ![]()
So much arguing in this thread. Everyone calm down and have a Sera

Also, in case any of you are wondering, there is already at least one awkward nude picture of Sera on DeviantArt.

That is gorgeous. Thanks for posting!
And yeah, Rule 34 is kinda a thing, so that doesn't really surprise me.
I wish i hadn't looked in the suggestions & feedback section cos theres yet another thread mostly complaining about Sera's sexuality ![]()
To clarify: You're not gay and you've never had a conversation with a gay person about what it means to be gay. From your position of singular ignorance, you are comfortable jumping into this conversation and telling a lesbian that her concerns are invalid because Luke's handling of Sera totally meets your approval.Even if you were right, you're kind of everything that's wrong.
Please try to actually read what I said before replying next time.
"Almost never", does not equal "never". The word "almost" is there for a reason.
What I was trying to get across is this:
I know people who are gay.
These people don't feel the need to bring it up to me often.
That shows that you can be gay and hardly mention it.
So, it's ENTIRELY believable for Sera to decide not to mention it to the leader of an inquisition that she decided to join.
No, I'm comfortable telling you that a lesbian doesn't need to flaunt her sexuality. Again, lesbians can share personality traits with a straight woman (or even a guy. Yes. It happens). So, because you didn't get what I was trying to say, I'll reiterate: Luke is not trying to create an avatar representation of homosexuality in females. He's wrote a character who is gay. How much we see of that is how much she shows.
Think of it this way:
You're Sera, I'm the inquisitor.
If you decide not to mention that you're gay, would that make you any less gay?
I would go ahead and drop that discussion point since its getting heated and likely not to lead anywhere better.

Sera's snort-giggling always leaves the entire Writers Pit in stitches.

'Twas inevitable. Imagine what would happen if Dorian was straight.
Or Cassandra was straight or turned out to be a lesbian. Exclusivity leads to disappointment. Disappointment turns into frustration. Frustration leads to complaining. That complaining sometimes leads to flaming, insults, and other forms of communication that's not really constructive.
So, Sera fans, who should I romance her with? Dwarf, elf, human, or qunari? I'm leaning towards dwarf ![]()
Just one more thing to love about her.
My head canon just got confirmed on that one. I always pictured her as the type to start snorting as she giggles.

Dwarf*

Well, I should let you know (if you didn't already) that race gating is a part of the game. In the new Romance thread, Allan laid out a lot of good reasons as to why. Just reading that put my mind a little more at ease. I'd go with an elf, personally. It would also fit your avatar. ![]()

That's my next thought, if she's open to the race.
