Roleplaying/narrative/emotional reasons, in short.
I liked the scenes we got, the cute scenes tug my feels more than sex I guess.

I really like Sera as a character, and also that BioWare tried to do something different and unexpected with her, but I equally can understand others' disappointment, especially as she's the first ever lesbian DA companion.
I agree, my point was that it's not like the Dalish romance is underdeveloped, or broken. It works fine, it just requires a certain mentality which not everyone has or wants - which is completely understandable.
From a representation view I think Sera is something of a draw. Which would be fine if representation wasn't hard to come by.
Because apparently there is a distinct lack of imagination.
If you want to play that game go sit in a sandpit for forty hours and enjoy your imagination untainted by those troublesome artists.
Ah, yes, because making personal attacks on people who enjoy sex scenes is the height of civility.
That wasn't an attack.

Well, Sera is just not my type. At all. I should have seen it coming. The saga of 'blondes do nothing for me' continues. I'm glad for the people who are enjoying her, but her 'don't know, don't want to know' attitude is a berserk button of mine. Can't work with that girl. I'll go back to stalking Leli in the rookery.
She seems to have less dialogue overall, though the lack of a sex scene is problematic.

Loved it haha. I know I'm going against my last comment saying this, but the 'break the roof' comment at the end of that scene made me laugh.

Saying that I don't have enough imagination?
Did You Romance Josie as well? How was it?
I romanced her in my first playthrough. I didn't feel like there was less conversations or dialogue, it was very cute and romantic.
Did You Romance Josie as well? How was it?
I did and it was pretty good. Josie's romance dialogue is easily missed because it is inserted into normal conversation quite sneakily. My favorite part had to be her words before the final mission.

Implying that something not depicted can be made up and enjoyed equally as something shown.
I think it was a terrible decision and wish they had used that characterization for someone who wasn't a romance option.
I think she could easily have been included as an "added extra" romance like Solas, but maybe have someone a little less divisive as a main lesbian character.
To summarise:
BioWare coming up with a controversial character very different than those they've made before = good.
BioWare deciding to include a lesbian-only romance = good.
BioWare deciding to bundle those two things together = problematic.
i believe it was a playful jestSaying that I don't have enough imagination?

Indeed, but I would bump that up to "horrible and rather boneheaded."

Well technically it can.Implying that something not depicted can be made up and enjoyed equally as something shown.

Well, I do pride myself on my diplomacy. Maybe I should romance Josie next time. ![]()
Josie is too "cute" for my type. I like crazy/weird/in your face ladies, reason why i like Isabela so much. (Leliana and Liara seem to have something in them to make me forget their "cuteness")
I also like ladies like Cassandra and Aveline and Miranda or even Viv, hell Morrigan... gay/bi women tend to get "cute" types of romances so Isabela and Sera are nice changes and i'm very glad Sera is a lesbian romance and a complicated one.

Sneaky indeed. I was barely getting any relevant dialogue with her before Skyhold. She doesn't truly open up until her lengthy quest is complete.
i believe it was a playful jest
Thank you.

I just wish I could somehow set the very idea on fire and then watch it burn into nothingness, then be replaced.
Thank you.
It wasn't.

Well you've made your point, I think a lot of people disagree with you.

Morrigan was who I went for in Origins and I wished like hell I could have told her off for some of her attitudes. Not as abrasive as Sera but very selfish and not altogether altruistic yet that made her very hot. ![]()
what for just trying to keep peace. Its no brawl wedsday lolThank you.
