You can respec her... The blacksmith sells amulets that allow you to redistribute your skills. They cost about 370 gold.
I may do that. I did not make her a "knight enchanter" and I've seen too many posts that say she's so op in that role. Right now she's a fire mage with a bit of barrier too.
I told her I didn't want her? *cower* Don't shoot me with arrows, please!
What!? You... you... oh my...

I got to say just setting aside her character issues that Sera is the best rogue I have. Really op in a fight if you max out her bow skills and give her a bit of the subterfuge skill set so she can do things like go invisible. Plus it helps to craft her a wicked bow which I've managed to do.
They did, here's the link to the thread in which someone posted that awful video

The first sentence has been voiced by a male VA, then it goes silent. And as far as I know, male character never gets to say those lines in any different context so I wonder if it's not similar remnant as occassional same-sex lines in ME2 in romances that were originally supposed to be bisexual, but then it's been cut off.
This clearly sounds like Tali/Ashley/Kaidan case where their VA's did the same lines and then later they cut them out. Nothing new here.
There were lines only a romanced Tali would say and it was with female Shepard.
Doesn't Solas also say that the memories he see's aren't the actual events that happened. Each spirit he receives the memories from views these events differently. One could see all of the pain and death whilst another could see the small bastion of hope in the middle of a field of battle.
Well, as long as it WAS Loghains, he may not have been just a pure traitor. As I said, Solas' comment makes the whole battle a matter of Grey.
Pun intended.

Knight-Commander bow FTW! It looks good and kills mooks by the hundreds!

I had her for my first playthrough and she irritated me, and was unprofessional. So this time I kindly rebuffed her request to join...?

I like Cole as my assassin with dual daggers. I've never really liked archers, to be honest.

We will never give up the hunt.

Alright you...
Meep!
I'll bring her back for my third playthrough and keep her the whole time, I swear!!

I love archers in this game! With my last Inquisitor I was an archer and had Sera along, but this time I'll switch between Cole and Varric. Cole is awesome with everybody.

I just got that bow today and immediately upgraded it and gave it to Sera. Haven't seen her use it yet but I'm looking forward to it.
Finally a bow with 150+ DPS. ![]()

I've very much a "dive into the combat face-first with knives" kind of player. I wouldn't even bring mages, except that they have barrier and energize things.

Gonna make me walk the plank if I don't? ![]()
It could possibly be that the "get Sera a present" quest was at one point a friendship quest with possible romantic extras, which then got made romance only, but some assets were accidentally left in. We can't really know the development process behind it.
That said, Sera's romance could clearly be turned into a bisexual one far more easily than Dorian's. Her sexuality is much less prevalent in her plot in general.
Of course it's all assumptions, but like you pointed out, it would be very easy to make her bisexual, so it works both ways - she could be very easily turned gay from bisexual. Her conversations in these terms are generic and not really gender specific.
Iron Bull was originally supposed to be race-gated romance, right? So it could be that since gay men in some situations had only 1 romance option, the devs could think it would be fine if there was no exclusive same-sex romance option for women if they had 2 options anyway. Definitely there wasn't put any thought into the idea of "lesbian representation" anyway, while gay male representation was very clearly something that was important to Gaider when he wrote Dorian.
Yeah early stand in VA lines don't mean much. Most of them were recorded before they finalized the romances, but were done just in case they decided to go another route with the chadacter. That they recorded just the first line means they dropped the male romance idea pretty early on in development. They did, here's the link to the thread in which someone posted that awful video
